1293704 五、發明說明(1) 本發明係有關於一種應用於顯示器之背光裝置,特別 係有關於均勻發光的直下式背光裝置以及使用此直下式背 光裝置之液晶顯示器。 發明背景: 第1 A圖係顯示一種習知液晶顯示器的直下式背光裝置 的立體圖。如第1A圖所示,習知的直下式背光裝置1〇包括 一導光板(light guide plate)ll、一反射片(reflector) 12以及複數燈管13 ;其中,複數燈管13設置於反射片12與 導光板11之間。
如第1A圖所示,習知的直下式背光裝置為了獲得一均 勻發光照射於一液晶面板上。一般而言,導光板平面上與 燈管之最短距離處,容易產生最大發光亮度。進一步,隨 著複數燈管之排列變化,容易於導光板鄰近液晶面板之發 光平面上產生發光亮度變化,也就是明暗之條紋變化。 為了改善上述明暗之條紋變化,參考第1B圖,其係顯 示一種習知液晶顯示器的直下式背光裝置的截面圖。導光 板21鄰近液晶面板之發光平面25上,與燈管23相對應處形
成一遮光層24,藉由此遮光層遮蔽明暗條紋之明亮條紋。 然而’此方法將會減少通過液晶面板之光線數量;進一 步’減少液晶顯示器之光亮度。此外,再參考第1C圖,其 係顯示另一種習知液晶顯示器的直下式背光裝置的截面 圖。與燈管33對應位置處之反射片32形成V型,藉由V塑反 射片32反射來自燈管的光束’以便降低導光板31上明暗條 ’未藉由V型反射罩反射而直接照射導光 紋之差異。然而

^光束’仍然會在導光板鄰近液晶面板之發光平面35上 產生明暗條紋。 發明概要: 光I 鐘於此’為了解決上述的問題,本發明提出一種背 样:置’其中’複數燈管設置於導光板之的複數弧狀凹 ^於本發明中’藉由具有弧狀凹槽的導光板,將來自燈 &之光束均勻地自導光板鄰近液晶面板之發光平面擴★散。 本發明之一目的在於提供一種背光裝置,包括:一導 二,以及複數燈管;其中,導光板具有一第一平面與一第 面’且第一平面與第二平面彼此互相對立。本發明之 光板於第一平面上更包括複數弧狀凹槽,且上述燈管設 置於弧狀凹槽。當複數燈管發光時,藉由導光板之弧狀凹 槽’將此等燈管之光束均勻分佈地自導光板發射。 •本發明之另一目的在於提供一種液晶顯示器,其包 括·一液晶面板、一擴散構件、一導光板、複數燈管以及 厂反射罩;其中,導光板具有一第一平面與一第二平面, 彼此對立地設置。本發明於導光板之第一平面上更包括複 數弧狀凹槽,且上述燈管設置於弧狀凹槽。當複數燈管發 佈地自導光板發射。 本發明之優點在於,藉由具有弧狀凹槽的導光板,將 來自燈管之光束均勻地自導光板鄰近液晶面板之發光平面 擴散。 圖示簡單說明:

1293704 五、發明說明(5) 113產生擴散作用。因此,來自燈管130之光束可自導光板 110之第二平面112均勻地發射。 第4圖係概要地顯示一個使用本發明背光裝置之液晶 顯示器。如第4圖所示,液晶顯示器200包括:一液晶面板 250、一導光板210、一反射片22 0以及複數個燈管2 30。且 於液晶面板2 50與導光板210之間設置一擴散構件 (diffusing means)240。導光板 210 具有一第一平面 211 以 及一第二平面212 ;且第一平面211與第二平面212彼此互 相對立。複數個燈管230設置於導光板210與反射片220之 間’反射片220係相對於導光板之第一平面211。 如第4圖所示,導光板2 1〇於第一平面2Π上設有複數 個弧狀凹槽213,且弧狀凹槽213之數目不少於燈管230之 數目。當燈管23 0發光時,來自燈管23 0之光束直接照射弧 狀凹槽213或藉由反射片220反射後進入弧狀凹槽213。參 考第3圖,每一燈管230對應的弧狀凹槽213係一凹透鏡。 根據造鏡者公式,來自燈管230之光束藉由導光板2 1〇中的 弧狀凹槽213產生擴散作用。因此,來自燈管230之光束可 自導光板210之第二平面212均勻地發射。 接著’如第4圖所示,自導光板21〇之第二平面212均 勻發射的光束通過擴散構件240後,均勻地照射於液晶面 板250。最後’光線可從液晶面板25〇中均勻發射。 於本發明中,擴散構件240設置於導光板210之第二平 面212上’其中包括一霧化薄板(diffusing sheet)241、 稜鏡薄板(prism sheet)242及一保護薄膜(protecting

Claims (1)

  1. 六、 申請專利範圍 1· 一種背光裝置,包括: 一導光板,具有彼此互相對立的一第一平面與一第二 平面; 一反射片,與上述導光板之第一平面相對;以及 複數個燈管,設置於導光板與反射片之間; 其中,上述導光板更包含複數個弧狀凹槽,形成於該 導光板之第一平面上’並且每一燈管設置於對應的弧狀凹 槽與反射片之間; 當燈管發光時,來自燈管之光束直接照射弧狀凹槽或 藉由反射片反射後照射弧狀凹槽,接著藉由該導光板均勻¥ 地擴散光束。 2·如申請專利範圍第1項所述的背光裝置,其中上述 弧狀凹槽之數目等於上述燈管之數目。 3 · —種液晶顯示器,其包括: 一液晶面板; 一導光板,上述導光板具有彼此互相對立的一第一平 面與一第二平面; 一反射片與上述導光板之第一平面相對;以及 複數個燈管,設置於上述導光板與反射片之間, 其中,上述導光板更包括複數弧狀凹槽,形成於該導 光板之第一平面上,並且每一燈管設置於對應的弧狀凹槽 與反射片之間; 當燈官發光時’來自燈光之光束直接照射弧狀凹槽或 藉由反射片反射後照射弧狀凹槽,藉由該導光板均勻地擴
