六、申請專利範圍 第1基板,形成有:多個圖素電極,被排列成爲矩陣 狀;主動元件,分別連接到該多個圖素電極之每一個; 閘極線,用來控制該等之主動元件;和資料線,經由該 主動元件用來將與欲顯示之圖像資料對應之資料.信號供 給到該各個圖素電極; 第2基板,被配置成與該第1基板面對,形成有至少 爲1個之面對電極,使該多個圖素電極和該面對電極成 爲互相面對;和 排列成未被扭轉之單色配向之液晶層,存在於面對之 該圖素電極和該面對電極之間,當該電極間未被施加電 場時,使液晶分子之分子長軸在一個方向排齊; 驅動裝置,在該液晶顯示元件之互相面對之電極間, 當施加重設電壓使液晶分子被配向成爲對該基板實質上 成爲垂直之後,施加與構成欲顯示之彩色圖像之多個單 一色圖像資料中之1個色之圖像對應之電壓,用來在該 液晶顯示元件順序的顯示該多個單一色之圖像;和 照明裝置,具備有光源分別用來發出構成欲顯示之彩 色圖像之多個單一色之光,利用該驅動裝置,使與該液 晶顯示元件所顯示之1個之圖像對應之單一色之光,依 照該液晶顯示元件所顯示之色之圖像,順序的發光,用 來照射該液晶顯示元件。 8 ·如申請專利範圍第7項之液晶顯示裝置,其中該驅動裝 置具備有控制裝置,用來在該液晶顯示元件之面對之電 564394
