Abstract

An elevator type parking system and a vehicle parking method of the same are disclosed. The elevator type parking system includes two horizontal movement driving motors each installed at a horizontal beam which supports one of the horizontal movement guide roller frame at the sides of the parking compartment and the ascending and descending path, a motor mechanism installed at the side of the ascending and descending path for transferring a rotation force of the horizontal movement driving motor to the horizontal movement guide roller at the ascending and descending path, and a selection motor mechanism installed at the side of the parking compartment for transferring a rotation force of the horizontal movement guide roller at the side of the ascending and descending path to the horizontal movement guide roller, for thereby simplifying the construction of an apparatus for loading and unloading a vehicle in an elevator type parking system, decreasing the fabrication cost.
