Abstract
一種自行車座墊製造方法,係先將一可發泡材料發泡成型為一座墊粗胚,再將該座墊粗胚置入一成型模具中加熱成型為一座墊;藉此,本發明之自行車座墊製造方法可避免浪費材料及不環保之問題。
Description
本發明係與自行車座墊有關,特別是關於一種自行車座墊製造方法。
一般自行車座墊主要包含有一彈性體,該彈性體係由發泡材質製成,例如經發泡之乙烯/醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(ethylene-vinyl acetate,簡稱EVA)或聚乙烯(polyethylene,簡稱PE)。該彈性體上通常覆蓋有一層表布,該表布通常為網布、合成塑膠皮或者其他布料。此外,該彈性體底部更會設置一硬質底殼,用以支撐座墊整體並藉由其他構件而與自行車座桿連結。
德國編號第DE102013206727號發明專利揭露有一種自行車座墊的製造方法,係先將已經發泡成型之發泡塊體利用機械加工(例如銑削、磨削等等)切削成類似座墊的形狀,以形成一座墊粗胚,再將該座墊粗胚放入模具中加熱,以將該座墊粗胚熱塑成型為最終之座墊形狀,更明確地說,係成型為自行車座墊的彈性體。
然而,前述專利所提供之製造方法中,在將發泡塊體加工成座墊粗胚的過程中會切削掉許多不需要的發泡塊體,此舉不但相當浪費材料,且非常不環保。
有鑑於上述缺失,本發明之主要目的在於提供一種自行車座墊製造方法,係能避免浪費材料及不環保之問題。
為達成上述目的,本發明所提供之自行車座墊製造方法包含有下列步驟:a)將一可發泡材料發泡成型為一座墊粗胚;以及b)將該座墊粗胚置入一成型模具中加熱成型為一座墊。
藉此,本發明之自行車座墊製造方法中,該座墊粗胚並非
經由切削加工而成,因此不會造成材料浪費及不環保之問題。
較佳地,在該步驟b)中,可更將該座墊粗胚在加熱成型的過程中與一織布結合,使得該座墊之底部具有該織布。藉此,該織布可提升座墊之結構強度,尤其是抵抗側向拉力之抗拉強度。
此外,在該步驟b)中,可更將該座墊粗胚在加熱成型的過程中與一表布結合,使得該座墊之頂部具有該表布。藉由此方式設置表布,不但相當簡便,且可將表布設置得相當穩固。該座墊粗胚可在單一模具中同時與該織布及該表布結合,或者先一模具中與該織布結合,再於同一模具或另一模具中與該表布結合。
至於該步驟a),係能以射出發泡之方式進行,更進一步地說,該步驟a)係將未發泡之可發泡射出材料射出至一粗胚模具內進行發泡成型。或者,該可發泡材料可為未發泡之可發泡片材,該步驟a)係將該可發泡材料放入一粗胚模具內進行發泡成型;該可發泡材料可利用射出成型製成,或者由大面積且未經發泡之可發泡板材裁切而成。
有關本發明所提供之自行車座墊製造方法的詳細構造、特點、組裝或使用方式,將於後續的實施方式詳細說明中予以描述。然而,在本發明領域中具有通常知識者應能瞭解,該等詳細說明以及實施本發明所列舉的特定實施例,僅係用於說明本發明,並非用以限制本發明之專利申請範圍。

申請人首先在此說明,在以下將要介紹之實施例以及圖式中,相同之參考號碼,表示相同或類似之元件或其結構特徵。
請先參閱第1圖及第2圖,本發明一第一較佳實施例所提供之自行車座墊製造方法,係用以製造一座墊10,該座墊10主要包含有一彈性體20,該彈性體20之材質為發泡材料,且通常為閉孔式發泡材料(closed cell foam),例如EVA或PE材料等,藉以同時兼具緩衝性及支撐性。此外,本實施例之座墊10更包含有一表布30(例如網布、合成塑膠皮等等)以及一織布40(例如紗布等等),該表布30係位於該座墊10之頂部12,用以與騎乘者接觸,該織布40係位於該座墊10之底部14,用以加強該座墊10之結構強度。
請參閱第3圖至第6圖,該座墊10之製造方法包含有下列步驟:
a)將一可發泡材料發泡成型為一座墊粗胚50。
詳而言之,該座墊粗胚50係用以在下述之步驟b)中成型為該彈性體20,該可發泡材料係由塑膠原料(例如EVA、PE等等)、發泡劑及其他添加物混合而製成,舉例而言,該材料可(但不限於)製作成形狀類似於該座墊10且大約僅有該座墊10一半尺寸之片材,然後,該材料(片材)係放入一粗胚模具60(如第4圖所示)內進行發泡成型,而成為一具
有特定狀之座墊粗胚50(如第5圖所示)。
前述之片材的製造方式,係可將前述之原料混合後經由機器製成大面積的板材,再將板材裁切成如前述之形狀及尺寸的片材,由於該材料未經發泡,因此裁切後剩餘之殘料可再利用,不會造成材料浪費。或者,前述之原料混合後亦可製成射出材料(例如藉由造粒程序製成顆粒狀),再利用射出成型製造出如前述之形狀及尺寸的片材。或者,此步驟a)亦可直接以射出發泡之方式進行,亦即將前述之原料混合後製成射出材料,再將射出材料射出至該粗胚模具60內進行發泡成型。
發泡成型之程序係將該粗胚模具60設置於一發泡成型機(圖中未示)內進行,該粗胚模具60包含有一上模62及一下模64,該上模62與該下模64相接合時形成一封閉空間,該材料在該封閉空間內受到加熱而發泡膨脹,並受該粗胚模具60塑形而成為該座墊粗胚50。更具體地說,以EVA材料為例,將該材料在該粗胚模具60內加熱至攝氏165度並持續15分鐘,然後再冷卻至室溫,即可完成發泡成型之程序。
b)將該座墊粗胚50置入一成型模具中加熱成型為該座墊10。
由於本實施例之座墊10除了包含有該彈性體20,更包含有該表布30及該織布40,因此,在本實施例之步驟b)中,更將該座墊粗胚50在加熱成型的過程中與該表布30及該織布40結合,使得該座墊10之頂部12及底部14分別具有該表布30及該織布40。
如第5圖所示,本實施例之步驟b)係將該座墊粗胚50、該表布30及該織布40放入一成型模具70內進行加熱成型。詳而言之,該成型模具70包含有相互樞接之一上模72、一下模74及一壓框76,該上模72具有一底面722,以及一凸出於該底面722之模台724,該下模74具有一頂面742,以及一自該頂面742凹陷之模穴744,該壓框76隔著該表布30而壓抵於該下模74之頂面742,該表布30受該壓框76定位於該頂面742上且有一部分位於該模穴744內,該座墊粗胚50之頂面52係先塗上黏膠,然後,該座墊粗胚50以該頂面52朝向該模穴744而設置於該模穴744內,該織布40覆蓋在該座墊粗胚50及該壓框76上,最後,該上模72壓抵於該壓框76上(如第6圖所示),以利用該模台724與該模穴744之形狀使該座墊粗胚
50加熱成型為該座墊10。
加熱成型之程序係將該成型模具70設置於一成型機(圖中未示)內進行,具體而言,將該座墊粗胚50加熱至其軟化點(例如攝氏150度)並持續150~180秒,使座墊粗胚50進行二次發泡,並成型成特定的形狀,然後再冷卻至室溫,即可完成加熱成型之程序。該座墊粗胚50在受該成型模具70塑形的同時,亦與該表布30緊密黏結,且該座墊粗胚50軟化時會滲入該織布40的細小孔隙內,因此加熱成型之程序完成後,該織布40係牢固地與該彈性體20結合,進而提升該座墊10之結構強度,尤其是抵抗側向拉力之抗拉強度。
請參閱第7圖至第9圖,本發明一第二較佳實施例係利用類同於前述之自行車座墊製造方法製造如第7圖所示之座墊80,該座墊80之頂部82無如前述之表布30,因此,該座墊80之製造方法的步驟b)中,該座墊粗胚50僅與該織布40結合,而不與表布30結合,因此該成型模具70內不需設置表布30,且該成型模具70亦不需設有如前述之壓框76。
該座墊80製造完成後,可再利用傳統方式設置表布於該座墊80之頂部82,或者利用第5圖所示之成型模具70,使表布結合於該座墊80之頂部82。
進一步言之,在第一較佳實施例中,該座墊粗胚50係在單一模具中同時與該織布40及該表布30結合。然而,該座墊粗胚50亦可先藉由如第8圖所示之成型模具70而與該織布40結合,然後再藉由類同於第5圖所示之成型模具70而與該表布30結合,亦即,前述之步驟b)可再拆成兩個步驟,使得該座墊粗胚50進行兩段式加熱成型,以藉由此兩個步驟使該座墊粗胚50先後與該織布40及該表布30結合,此方式特別適用於形狀較為複雜的座墊。
必需加以說明的是,本發明之自行車座墊製造方法的特點主要係在於,該彈性體20之粗胚50的成型過程中,不需利用機械加工之方式,將已經發泡成型的塊狀材料切削成特定形狀,而是將未經發泡的材料直接發泡成型所需的粗胚形狀,故可避免材料浪費及不環保之問題,因此本發明不限於在製造過程中設置表布及織布。
最後,必須再次說明,本發明於前揭實施例中所揭露的構成
元件,僅為舉例說明,並非用來限制本案之範圍,其他等效元件的替代或變化,亦應為本案之申請專利範圍所涵蓋。
Claims (10)
- 一種自行車座墊製造方法,包含有下列步驟:a)將一可發泡材料發泡成型為一座墊粗胚;以及b)將該座墊粗胚置入一成型模具中加熱成型為一座墊。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該步驟b)更將該座墊粗胚在加熱成型的過程中與一織布結合,使得該座墊之底部具有該織布。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該步驟b)更將該座墊粗胚在加熱成型的過程中與一表布結合,使得該座墊之頂部具有該表布。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該座墊粗胚係同時與該織布及該表布結合。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該座墊粗胚係先與該織布結合再與該表布結合。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該步驟a)中之可發泡材料,係利用射出成型製成。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該步驟a)中之可發泡材料係由未發泡之可發泡板材裁切而成。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該步驟a)係以射出發泡之方式進行。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該可發泡材料為未發泡之可發泡片材,該步驟a)係將該可發泡材料放入一粗胚模具內進行發泡成型。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之自行車座墊製造方法,其中該步驟a)係將未發泡之可發泡射出材料射出至一粗胚模具內進行發泡成型。
