L發明所屬《^技術領域I 技術領域 本發明係有關於一種具有棒狀導光體與發光單元之線 5狀照明裝置,及組裝有該線狀照明裝置之影像讀取裝置。 背景技術 密接型影像感測器(影像讀取裝置)係被用來作為在傳 真裝置、影印機、影像掃瞄裝置等中讀取原稿的裝置,且 10該密接型影像感測器具有橫越主掃瞄範圍線狀地照明原稿 面之線狀照明裝置。 而線狀照明裝置採用了導光體是眾所皆知的。舉例來 說,在專利文獻1中揭露了一種線狀照明裝置,該線狀照明 裝置在導光體的一端配置發光單元,並且沿著導光體之長 15向形成擴散、反射來自發光單元的光之光散射模式,且在 此光散射模式的法線上配置前述發光單元的複數光源 (LED),使射出面形成於與前述法線相異方向上。。 而專利文獻2與專利文獻3亦揭不了於棒狀導光體的兩 端设置發光早元’並以棒狀導光體表面的一部份作為光散 20 射面者。 【專利文獻1】特許第3083092號公報 【專利文獻2】特開平6-148435號公報 【專利文獻3】特開平7-14414號公報 【發明内容3 200526012 發明之揭示 發明欲解決之問題 第7圖係說明前述先前技術所使用之發光單元與棒狀 導光體的結合部之圖。以往的發光單元係在形成有電路之 5基板100上形成用以結合之窗部101,且在窗部101内配置了 3原色(RGB)的各發光元件102、103、104。又,形成於基板 100上的發光電路係透過導線1〇5…進行供電。 然而,發光元件之大小約為〇.3mm見方,為了避免因 奄熱而過熱,故必須相互間隔〇 8mm。其結果是使窗部ι〇ι 10的大小成為Limmxa.Smm。又,在安裝了導光體1〇6的狀態 下,右自部101比導光體106的截面大,則光線將會漏出, 因此導光體106的截面大小必須要足以完全覆蓋窗部1〇1。 因以往棒狀導光體的截面形狀完全覆蓋窗部ι〇ι,致使 棒狀導光體的截面大小受到限制。其結果是要將傳播於棒 15狀導光體内的光能後、度提高到一定水準以上是困難的。若 光月b始、度太低,則無法以具有對原稿面之特定領域明亮照 射之指向性。 本發明之目的,係提供可提高傳播於棒狀導光體内部 之光能密度之線狀照明裝置。 20 為達成前述目的,本發明之線狀照明裝置係於棒狀導 光體的兩端設置發光單元,且前述兩端之發光單元係於基 板安裝三原色中之一色或二色的發光元件,並且藉由配合 兩端發光單元之發光元件,可滿足三原色之所有顏色者。 舉例來說’可於其中一端側的發光單元裝設發綠光元 200526012 件與發紅光元件,而另—端側發光單元裝設發藍光元件與 發紅光元件。 如此,右將二原色之發光元件分配於兩端之發光單 兀,使設置於各發光單元之發光元件數為丨或2,即可縮小 5結合用的窗部。其結果是可縮小棒狀導光體之截面。 又,本申請案之另-特徵係於發光單元之基板上設置 二個自部,且於各窗部安裝三原色之各發光元件,又,對 應於各窗部配置有三支前述棒狀導光體。如此亦可提高棒 狀導光體内之光能密度。 〇 又’本發明申請之對象並不侷限於線狀照明裝置,亦 包含裝設該線狀照明裝置之影像讀取裝置。 依據本發明,可縮小形成於發光單元基板上之結合用 窗部,因此可縮小棒狀導光體之截面積。若棒狀導^體之 截面積縮小,則可提高傳播於該棒狀導光體内之光能密 U度,而且即使縮小形成於棒狀導光體之散射點,亦可明亮 地照射原稿之特定範圍。 具體而言’由於在以往配置了 3個LED晶片之基板上配 置2個㈣晶片,故形成於基板上之窗部大小將變成2/3以 下’而光能密度可提昇至1.5倍以上。 20 ®此,本發_餘將棒狀導練配置於接近原稿面 之傳真裝置、影印機、影像掃晦裝置等裝置,可得到極高 的精度。 ° 【實施冷式】 貝施發明之最佳型態 200526012 以下將依據圖式說明本發明之實施方式。第1圖係使用 本發明之線狀照明裝置之密接型影像感測器之截面圖,第2 圖係一對組裝在前述密接型影像感測器之線狀照明裝置之 透視圖,而第3圖係本發明之線狀照明裝置之分解透視圖。 5 密接型影像感測器(CIS)係將2組線狀照明裝置2、2組 裝於保持體1,另外,在保持體1内裝置正立等倍系的透鏡 陣列3,更於保持體1的下部安裝有線狀影像感測器4之底板 5,並於線狀照明裝置2,2的上方配置有原稿台 6(COVERGLASS)。 10 如第3圖所示,線狀照明裝置2係由白色盒體21、嵌入 白色盒體21内之棒狀導光體22、及設置於棒狀導光體22雨 端之發光單元30、40所構成。 棒狀導光體22係以聚丙烯樹脂等作為材料塑造成形, 其形狀從側端來看,兩側面23、24係呈1/4橢圓形或拋物 15線,且底面25及上面26為平坦面,並且使導入棒狀導光體 内之光不規則反射的散射點係形成於底面25上,而上面26 為射出面。且,如第4圖所示,散射點係形成為在中央部的 面積大,而越接近兩端,其面積會逐漸縮小。 月il述發光單元30在形成有電路的基板31上安裝有供電 0用之導線32,且於基板31朝向棒狀導光體22之一面上形成 有結合用之窗部33,並且該窗部33中安装有發綠光二極體 34與發藍光二極體35。 另方面,發光單几40也同樣於基板41上安裝有供電 用的導線42,且於基板41朝向棒狀導光體^的一面上形成 200526012 有結合用之窗部43,並且該窗部43中安裝有兩個發紅光二
極體44。又,發光二極體35,35,34係採用晶片型者(LED 晶片)。 又’亦可於發光單元3〇安裝發藍光二極體與發紅光二 5極體’且於發光單元40安裝發綠光二極體與發紅光二極體。 第4圖係在形成有前述散射點時,測定於線狀照明裝置 的長度方向(主掃瞄方向)上之三原色反射光量之圖,(約顯 不散射點模式,(b)表顯示綠色及藍色led光之反射光量c縱 轴為反射光量,橫軸為長度方向之位置),⑷表顯示紅色 10 LED光之反射光量。由此圖式可了解,綠色及藍色LED光 在另一端附近,其光量會逐漸減弱,而紅色LED光於一端 附近其光量會逐漸減弱。又,關於長度方向光量之分配, 可以散射點的模式來控制。 第5圖係顯示在配設有一對本發明之線狀照明裝置時 15 的三原色反射光量之圖。於此實施例中,在一對線狀照明 裝置中,其發光單元30,40係以點對稱的方式配置,因此 不論綠色及藍色LED光之反射光量或紅色LED光之反射光 量皆可由各線狀照明裝置補足,與配置一支線狀照明裝置 的情形相較,可獲得更無明暗差之特性。 20 第6圖係顯示另一實施例之透視圖,此實施例係於發光 單元50之基板51設置獨立之3個結合用窗部52,53,54,並 分別將發綠光二極體55配置於窗部52,將發藍光光二極體 56配置於窗部53,且將發紅光二極體57配置於窗部54,又, 三支棒狀導光體58…則對應各窗部52,53,54。 200526012 如此,當將各色之發光二極體個別設置於窗部,且於 各窗部分別裝設一支較細之棒狀導光體時,可提高傳播之 光能,更可增加導光體形狀及散射點模式之自由度,也可 減少光源附近之RGB(三原色)散射。 5 【圖式簡單說明】 第1圖係使用本發明之線狀照明裝置之密接型影像感 測器之截面圖。 第2圖係一對線狀照明裝置之透視圖。 第3圖係本發明之線狀照明裝置之分解透視圖。 10 第4圖係顯示本發明之線狀照明裝置之長度方向上之 三原色反射光量的圖。 第5圖係顯示於配置有一對本發明之線狀照明裝置時 之三原色反射光量的圖。 第6圖係顯示另一實施例之透視圖。 15 第7圖係說明習知線狀照明裝置之結合部的圖。 【主要元件符號說明】 23,24···棒狀導光體之側面 25...棒狀導光體之底面 26…棒狀導光體之上面 30,40,50.··發光單元 31,41,51…基板 32,42…導線 33,43,52,53,54···窗部 34,55...發綠光二極體 1.. .基座 2.. .線狀照明裝置 3.. .透鏡陣列 4.. .線狀影像感測器 5.. .底板 6.. .原稿台 21…白色盒體 22 ’ 58…棒狀導光體 10 200526012 35,56...發藍光二極體 44,57·.·發紅光二極體

Claims (1)

  1. 200526012 十、申請專利範圍: 1. 一種線狀照明裝置,具有棒狀導光體與發光單元,其特 徵在於:前述發光單元設置在前述棒狀導光體之兩端, 且前述兩端之發光單元係於基板安裝三原色中之一色 5 或二色的發光元件,並且藉由配合兩端發光單元之發光 元件,可滿足三原色之所有顏色。 2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之線狀照明裝置,其中,其中一 端側的前述發光單元裝設發綠光元件與發藍光元件,且 另一端側的前述發光單元裝設發紅光元件。 10 3.如申請專利範圍第1項之線狀照明裝置,其中,其中一 端側的前述發光單元裝設發藍光元件與發紅光元件,且 另一端側的前述發光單元裝設發綠光元件。 4. 一種線狀照明裝置,具有棒狀導光體與發光單元,其特 徵在於:前述發光單元上設有三個窗部,且於各窗部安 15 裝三原色之各發光元件,又,對應於各窗部配置有三支 前述棒狀導光體。 5. —種影像讀取裝置,包含有: 線狀照明裝置,係如申請專利範圍第1至4項之中任 一項者; 20 線狀影像感測器;及 透鏡陣列,係用以將來自原稿之反射光或透射光集 中至前述線狀影像感測器上者。
