Abstract
Bir ısı değiştirici (100), bir istif halinde istiflenen bir takım özdeş ısı değiştirici plakaları (110) içermektedir. Her diğer ısı değiştirici plakası, komşu plakalarına göre düzlemi içinde 180 derece döndürülmektedir, ve her bir ısı değiştirici plakası en az dört ağız açıklığı (130, 140, 150, 160) ve bastırılmış çıkıntılar (R) ve oluklar (G) barındıran bir balıksırtı şablonu içermektedir. Çıkıntılar ve oluklar, akış kanallarının oluşumu altında plakaların birbirlerinden uzakta tutulması için uygundur; burada ağız açıklıkları etrafındaki alanlar, ağız açıklıklarından akış kanallarına seçici akış gerçekleştirilecek şekilde farklı seviyelerde düzenlenmektedir. Dişler (D), ağız açıklıklarından herhangi birisinin yakınında çıkıntılar (R) ve oluklar (G) içinde düzenlenmektedir; söz konusu dişler (D), söz konusu akış kanalı içinde daha eşit akış dağılımını desteklemesi için akış direncini arttırmak üzere düzenlenmektedir.
