Abstract

Bir sürgülü araç kapısında veya pencere kaldıracında bulunan gibi bir tahrik sisteminde kullanıma yönelik bir çelik tel halat açıklanır. Bu halat hakkında belirgin olan, etrafında tel halata kılavuzluk yapıldığı kılavuz parçalarının azaltılan bir yıpranması ile kombinasyon halinde dikkate değer bir korozyon direncine sahip olmasıdır. Korozyon direnci, çinko ve çinko alaşım çelik kablolar üzerinde magnezyum oksit partiküllerinin yayılması ve bu partiküllerin kaplama ile temas ettirilmesi yoluyla elde edilir. Azaltılan yıpranma, kaplama üzerinde ince aşındırıcı partiküllerin yayılması yoluyla elde edilir. Yayma ve temas ettirme, çelik tel halatlara yönelik yağlayıcı olarak yaygın şekilde kullanılan alifatik mineral yağları gibi bir likit taşıyıcı aracılığıyla sağlanabilir. Magnezyum oksit, çinko kaplamanın kalınlığını azaltırken eşit veya daha iyi bir korozyon direncini sağlar. Çinko kaplamanın kalınlığının azaltılması, kordonu çapını korurken çelik tel halatın kuvvetini arttırır. Aşındırıcı partiküller, kılavuz parçalarının daha pürüzsüz bir yüzeyine ve azaltılmış yıpranmasına yol açarak telin parlatılmasına olanak verir.
