Claims (13)

  1. Visokoobstojni spoji med keramičnimi izdelki in postopek izdelave spoja Patentni zahtevki
    1. Spoj jedrske kvalitete ("nuclear grade") med prvim in drugim keramičnim izdelkom, od katerih vsak obsega keramiko, pri čemer spoj jedrske kvalitete obsega: matriks, ki obsega keramiko, in ki se razteza med prvim in drugim izdelkom; množico vključkov, ki obsegajo keramiko, in ki so porazdeljeni preko matriksa; in v bistvu neprepustno tesnilno plast, ki obsega keramiko, ki je ustrezno razmeščena na prvem in drugem keramičnem izdelku, in matriks; kjer matriks izvira iz pred-keramične polimerne suspenzije in je v bistvu neprepustna tesnilna plast izvedena iz kemične parne infiltracije (CVI, "Chemical vapor infiltration"), kjer se kemična parna infiltracija izvede po tvorbi matriksa; kjer je keramika β-SiC in kjer matriks, množica vključkov in v bistvu neprepustna tesnilna plast vsak obsega več kot 99,0 mas. % β-SiC.
  2. 2. Spoj jedrske kvalitete po zahtevku 1, kjer prvi in drugi izdelek vsak obsega keramični polimorf, pri čemer matriks obsega keramični polimorf; množica vključkov obsega keramični polimorf; in v bistvu neprepustna tesnilna plast obsega keramični polimorf.
  3. 3. Spoj jedrske kvalitete po zahtevku 2, kjer matriks, množica vključkov in v bistvu neprepustna tesnilna plast vsak sestoji v bistvu iz enakega keramičnega polimorfa, ali kjer prvi in drugi izdelek vsak sestoji v bistvu iz enakega keramičnega polimorfa.
  4. 4. Spoj jedrske kvalitete po katerem koli od predhodnih zahtevkov, kjer se v bistvu neprepustna tesnila plast delno ali popolnoma razteza v matriks.
  5. 5. Spoj jedrske kvalitete po katerem koli od predhodnih zahtevkov, kjer ima spoj jedrske kvalitete v bistvu enako sestavo, kot vsak od prvega in drugega izdelka, ali kjer ima spoj jedrske kvalitete v bistvu enako mehansko trdnost kot vsak od prvega in drugega izdelka, ali kjer ima spoj jedrske kvalitete v bistvu enak toplotni razteznostni koeficient kot vsak od prvega in drugega izdelka, ali kjer ima spoj jedrske kvalitete karakteristično navidezno strižno trdnost vsaj 1 MPa.
  6. 6. Spoj jedrske kvalitete po zahtevku 1, kjer matriks, množica vključkov in v bistvu neprepustna tesnilna plast vsak obsega več kot 99,7 mas. % β-SiC.
  7. 7. Postopek priprave spoja jedrske kvalitete med prvim in drugim izdelkom, od katerih vsak obsega keramični polimorf, pri čemer postopek obsega: (a) pripravo suspenzije, ki obsega pred-keramični polimer in množico vključkov, pri čemer vključki obsegajo enak keramični polimorf; (b) nanašanje pred-keramične polimerne suspenzije med prvi in drugi izdelek; (c) utijevanje pred-keramične polimerne suspenzije, da se tvori zeleno telo ("green body")\ (d) piroliziranje zelenega telesa, da se tvori trdna keramika, ki vsebuje množico vključkov, (e) konverzijo trdne keramike v matriks, ki obsega enak keramični polimorf, in ki ima v sebi množico vključkov; in (f) ojačitev spoja jedrske kvalitete z nanašanjem v bistvu neprepustne tesnilne plasti, potem ko je pred-keramična polimerna suspenzija popolnoma pretvorjena v keramični polimorf na zunanji površini prvega in drugega izdelka in delnim ali popolnim penetriranjem v matriks spoja jedrske kvalitete, kjer neprepustna tesnilna plast obsega enak keramični polimorf, kjer je neprepustna tesnilna plast izvedena iz kemične parne infiltracije (CVI); kjer je polimorf β-SiC.
  8. 8. Postopek po zahtevku 7, kjer matriks, množica vključkov in neprepustna tesnilna plast vsak sestoji v bistvu iz enakega keramičnega polimorfa, ali kjer vključki obsegajo viskerje ("whiskers") keramičnega polimorfa, ki po izbiri vključujejo oblogo mejne ploskve ("interface coating").
  9. 9. Postopek po zahtevku 7 ali zahtevku 8, kjer se suspenzija utrjuje pri prvi temperaturi, da se tvori zeleno telo, se zeleno telo pirolizira pri drugi temperaturi, ki je višja od prve temperature, da se tvori trdna keramika, in se trdna keramika kristalizira pri temperaturi, kije višja od druge temperature.
  10. 10. Postopek po katerem koli od zahtevkov 7-9, kjer pred-keramični polimer obsega polikarbosilan.
  11. 11. Postopek po zahtevku 7, kjer nanašanje kemične parne infiltracije obsega nanašanje silicij- in ogljik-vsebujočih reaktantnih plinov v nosilnem plinu na prvi in drugi izdelek ter matriks.
  12. 12. Postopek po katerem koli od zahtevkov 7-11, ki nadalje obsega ponavljanje stopenj (b)-(e) enkrat ali večkrat.
  13. 13. Spoj jedrske kvalitete po zahtevku 1, kjer vsaj eden od matriksa, vključkov, v bistvu neprepustne tesnilne plasti ter prvega in drugega keramičnega izdelka obsega drugačen keramični polimorf, kot vsaj eden drugi izmed matriksa, vključkov, v bistvu neprepustne tesnilne plasti ter prvega in drugega keramičnega izdelka, ali kjer vsaj eden od matriksa, vključkov, v bistvu neprepustne tesnilne plasti ter prvega in drugega keramičnega izdelka obsega drugačen keramični material, kot vsaj eden drugi izmed matriksa, vključkov, v bistvu neprepustne tesnilne plasti ter prvega in drugega keramičnega izdelka.
