Abstract

Method of harmonisation, between a sight telescope (1), a thermal camera (12) and a guide projector (10), by means of operations requiring the use of no specific equipment. For this purpose, the telescope (1), which includes an objective (lens) (4), a graticule (5) illuminated in the visible and an eye-piece (9), is rigidly attached to a parallel-faced plate (2) in order to form a stable reference assembly. The plate (2) is adjusted by construction perpendicular to the optical axis (3) of the telescope. The guide projector (10) has its axis (11) slaved so as to be always perpendicular to the plate (2). The camera (12) having a magnification other than + 1, placed in front of the sight telescope, is fitted at the output of the visible channel with another parallel-faced plate (18) adjusted by construction perpendicular to the invariant axis (17) of the camera, the adjustment of the position of which is carried out by altering its orientation in such a way that the illuminated graticule (5) observed through the eye-piece (9) coincides with its image formed by autocollimation on the plate (18).
