The biologically active dietary supplement contains the following components, wt %: mint leaves - 15, sage leaves - 15, linden flowers - 31, knot grass herb -15, origanum herb - 3, corn silk - 8, valerian underground stems with roots - 3 and oat grains - 10.

EFFECT: due to the proposed qualitative composition and quantitative ration of components the invention enables production of a biologically active dietary supplement that has a beneficial effect in case of nervous system functional disorders, increased physical and psychic fatiguability, defective memory.

The invention relates to the food industry.

Stress is a state of mental stress that brings a person out of balance. Often this is the general stress of the body, arising under the influence of various emergency stimuli and during activity in difficult conditions, as a result of which the adrenal medulla secretes adrenaline. Typical symptoms of stress are overexcitation, mental and physical overwork, increased irritability, insomnia, depression, poor digestion, and lack of resistance to viral infections.

Known biologically active dietary supplement of plant origin - Antistress - is intended for the correction of neurotic disorders of mild severity (including subclinical level). Antistress contains a complex of herbs (valerian, heather, clover, zyuznik, lavender, lemon balm, peony, motherwort, hops), which have a positive effect on asthenic and anxiety disorders of a neurotic nature. The most active active component of this phytocomposition is essential oils that affect the activity of the nervous system and have an anxiolytic effect (Pilyagina G.Ya. “Antistress” in the treatment of neurotic disorders, wc “Provizor”, No. 20, 2000).

The disadvantage of this tool is the release form - tablet, since the use of a tablet slows down the process of absorption of the necessary components of dietary supplements into the human body.

Known biologically active additive for the prevention and adjunctive therapy for stressful loads, mental and physical stress, characterized in that it includes a dry concentrate of infusion of lemon balm grass, a dry concentrate of infusion of oregano grass, a dry concentrate of rhodiola rosea extract, pollen, crushed ginger root, amber acid, ascorbic acid, vitamin E, calcium gluconate, as well as starch, wheat bran, talc, calcium stearate and sugar, in a tablet (RU 2207147 C1, 06.27.2003).

The disadvantage of this tool is the release form - a tablet, since the use of a tablet slows down the process of absorption of the necessary components of dietary supplements into the human body, as well as the use of plants in the form of infusion concentrates.

The closest analogue is a biologically active food supplement - Night Dreams tea, which includes chamomile flowers, blueberry leaves and fruits, chicory root, stevia leaves, green mint leaves, passionflower, hawthorn berries, valerian root, flowers (cones) hops, scutellaria. It is recommended for use as a general strengthening and mild sedative with high psycho-emotional stress (Pilat T.L. Federal Register of Biologically Active Food Supplements. M., Kogelet, 2001, p. 67).

A disadvantage of the known drug is the individual intolerance to certain components of the drug observed in individual patients.

The objective of the invention is to expand the range of biologically active food additives from widespread raw materials.

The problem is solved in that a biologically active food supplement containing mint leaves and rhizomes with valerian roots, according to the invention further comprises sage leaves, linden flowers, knotweed grass, oregano grass, corn stalks with stigmas and oat grains, in the following ratio of components, wt.%:

The technical result of the claimed invention is to obtain a biologically active additive, which has a beneficial effect on functional disorders of the nervous system (neurasthenia, stress, insomnia, hysteria, hypochondria and depressive syndromes), increased physical and mental fatigue, decreased memory, emotional lability. The technical result will be achieved only with the claimed qualitative and quantitative ratio of components.

Mint is a cultivated perennial herbaceous medicinal plant of the family Labiaceae. Herbal medicinal raw materials are leaves. Active ingredients: essential oil, flavonoids, tannins and bitterness - these are the main active ingredients of this plant. The most important component in the essential oil is menthol (up to 60%). Menthol, contained in mint leaves, has local anesthetizing, antispasmodic and antiseptic properties, causing reflex expansion of the coronary vessels. It is used internally for angina pectoris, pain in the stomach and intestines. Herbal tea using medicinal plant materials of mint has a choleretic, mild sedative and vasodilating properties. Mint is also found in numerous other tea collections: peppermint leaves improve any tea with their taste and smell, as well as enhance its effect, since medicines containing both essential oil, tannins, and bitterness have a multilateral effect. It is used for angina, pain in the stomach and intestines. Mint is a part of teas: choleretic, diaphoretic, soothing, gastric and in fees intended for baths.

Sage is a perennial shrub with the height of the labiate family. All parts of the plant contain essential oil, the amount of which in the leaves is 1.3-2.5%. Essential oil consists of D-α-pinene, cineole, α- and β-thujone, D-borneol and D-camphor. Alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, oleanolic and ursolic acids were also found in the leaves. Linden - a tree of the linden family. Herbal raw materials are flowers containing essential oil, saponins, polysaccharides, flavonoids, tannins, carotene and ascorbic acid. Linden blossom is one of the oldest folk medicines that has established itself as a diaphoretic, antipyretic, expectorant, diuretic, bactericidal agent, as well as having diuretic, weak antispasmodic and secretolytic properties. Outwardly with inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, pharynx as a rinse. The flowers contain an essential oil, the smell of which is due to the presence of farnesol alcohol, as well as flavono glycoside hesperidin, thiacin glycoside, saponins, tannins, carotene, ascorbic acid; bracts - mucus and tannins. It is considered a pantry of vegetable protein (17%), extractive substances (44%), fiber (27%), ash (8.9%), sugars (2.5%), resin, wax, tannins. There are a lot of phosphorus, calcium, zinc, silicon. Ascorbic acid up to 400 mg%, carotene up to 118 mg%. naphthoquinone, tocopherol, vitamin K, bioflavonoids, glycosides, organic acids were found. Medicines of knotweed increase the rate of blood coagulation, lower blood pressure, tone the muscles of the uterus, increase urination, as well as the amplitude of respiratory movements and ventilation volume of the lungs. Infusions of herbs are used as an antitumor agent, as well as for the treatment of diseases associated with metabolic disorders, including obesity. Contraindications to the use of knotweed are hypotension and thrombophlebitis. It is extremely undesirable to use for gastritis, as well as for peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum against the background of increased acidity of gastric juice.

Oregano is a perennial herbaceous medicinal plant in the family Lamiaceae. The chemical composition of oregano is rich. The infusion of this herb has an expectorant, diuretic and quite pronounced calming effect. It is used for respiratory diseases, as a tonic and enhancing secretion of the stomach (with hypo- and anacid gastritis) and intestinal motility during its atony. Oregano is used to stimulate appetite, digestion and calm the nervous system, as well as for painful menstruation and increased sexual excitability. It is not recommended to take oregano during pregnancy, as it stimulates the contraction of the muscles of the uterus, which can lead to an abortive effect. Oregano is part of diaphoretic diaphoretic teas, carminative and rinse collection for diseases of the gums, tonsillitis, chronic tonsillitis.

The roots contain up to 0.5-2% of essential oil, the main part of which is boronyl valerianate (valerian-borneol ether), free isovaleric acid, borneol, bicyclic monoterpenes (camphene, a-pinene, d-terpineol, 1-limonene), as well as sesquiterpenes, borneol esters of formic, acetic and butyric acids, nitrogen-containing alcohol and cessyl alcohol - proazulene (tricyclic sesquiterpene alcohol); alkaloids - actinidine (which has an exciting effect on cats), valerin, hatinin, tannins, saponins, sugars, organic acids (formic, acetic, malic, stearic, palmitic, etc.), glycosides (valerid, valerosides A, B and C) monoterpene alcohol mertinol in free form and as isovalerianic acid ester. The aglycon of valerosides A, B, and C is valerogenin, which belongs to triterpene ketones. In addition, 2 unknown ketones were discovered. Valerian contains about 1% of valepatriates, polysaccharides, organic acids. Thanks to the beneficial properties of valerian, it has a multilateral effect on the body; inhibits the central nervous system, lowers its excitability; reduces spasms of smooth muscle organs. Valerian essential oil relieves cramps caused by the alkaloid brucin, which is close in pharmacological properties to strychnine; reduces the excitation caused by caffeine, lengthens the effect of sleeping pills, has an inhibitory effect on the systems of the medulla oblongata and midbrain, increases the functional mobility of cortical processes. Due to its healing properties, valerian regulates the activity of the heart, acting through the central nervous system and directly on the muscle and the conduction system of the heart, improves coronary circulation due to the direct action of borneol on the blood vessels of the heart. In addition, valerian enhances the secretion of the glandular apparatus of the gastrointestinal tract, enhances bile secretion. Valerian extract reduces the convulsive effect of strychnine and relieves hyperkinesis caused by cordiamine. Valerian belongs to the group of tranquilizers.

The claimed biologically active food supplement can be used in the form of herbal tea.
