Claims (19)

1. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель, содержащий:
железный картер, имеющий плоское горизонтально противоположное восьми цилиндровое расположение, с первым набором стенок цилиндров, образующих четыре цилиндра в первом ряду, и вторым набором стенок цилиндров, образующих четыре цилиндра в противоположном втором ряду.
стальной коленчатый вал, установленный с возможностью вращения по меньшей мере частично внутри железного картера; и
восемь стальных поршневых узлов, причем каждый из стальных поршневых узлов размещен в соответствующем цилиндре железного картера и соединен со стальным коленчатым валом;
при этом первый и второй наборы стенок цилиндров имеют минимальную толщину стенок приблизительно между 4,8-5,2 мм.
2. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, который с агрегатами весит приблизительно между 595-680 фунтами (без рабочих жидкостей).
3. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, который выполнен с возможностью выработки приблизительно между 300-450 лошадиными силами.
4. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, дополнительно содержащий первую алюминиевую головку цилиндра и вторую алюминиевую головку цилиндра, при этом первая алюминиевая головка цилиндра и вторая алюминиевая головка цилиндра функционально связаны с железным картером через множество болтов головки, заканчивающихся проксимально в нижнем участке соответствующих цилиндров.
5. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, в котором картер включает диагональные ребра, выполненные с возможностью улучшения структурной целостности картера.
6. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, дополнительно содержащий один или более опорных подшипников, при этом радиальный зазор одного или более опорных подшипников составляет приблизительно между 35-55 мкм.
7. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, в котором поршневые узлы выполнены с возможностью выдерживания бесконечного числа циклов нагружения, имеющих пиковое нагружение 300 МПа или менее.
8. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, который выполнен с возможностью работы с пиковым давлением в цилиндре до 240 бар.
9. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, дополнительно содержащий систему охлаждения, при этом соседние цилиндры ферритного авиационного дизельного двигателя расположены на расстоянии приблизительно 12 мм друг от друга, причем пространство между стенками цилиндров образует водяную рубашку между соседними цилиндрами, через которую циркулирует охлаждающая жидкость двигателя системы охлаждения.
10. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.9, в котором система охлаждения дополнительно включает радиатор и перепускной клапан радиатора, при этом перепускной клапан радиатора выполнен с возможностью избирательной изоляции радиатора от остальной части системы охлаждения.
11. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.10, в котором перепускной клапан радиатора управляется посредством одного или более датчиков температуры, выполненных с возможностью измерения температуры охлаждающей жидкости двигателя, окружающей цилиндры.
12. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.11, в котором перепускной клапан радиатора активируется, когда температура, измеренная по меньшей мере одним из одного или более датчиков температуры, снижается ниже приблизительно 222°C.
13. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, дополнительно содержащий систему смазки двигателя, имеющую первый центрифугирующий механизм, выполненный с возможностью отделения прорвавшихся газов от смазочного масла, и второй центрифугирующий механизм, выполненный с возможностью дополнительного отделения аэрозолированного смазочного масла от прорвавшихся газов.
14. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.1, дополнительно содержащий по меньшей мере одно облегченное зубчатое колесо, имеющее внешний обод и первичный диск, состоящий из единого элемента, так что вместе внешний обод и первичный диск образуют тарельчатую структуру, образующую полую область, лишенную материала.
15. Ферритный авиационный дизельный двигатель по п.14, в котором по меньшей мере одно облегченное зубчатое колесо дополнительно включает вторичный диск, соединенный с внешним ободом, противоположный первичному диску, так что полая область расположена между первичным диском и вторичным диском.
