Claims (34)

1. Система транспортного средства, содержащая:
основание;
сиденье, с возможностью поворота, расположенное на основании;
магнит, генерирующий магнитное поле; и
датчик, запрограммированный для измерения углового смещения сиденья относительно основания на основе, по меньшей мере частично, ориентации магнитного поля, сгенерированного магнитом.
2. Система транспортного средства по п. 1, в которой магнит расположен на сиденье, а датчик расположен на основании, при этом магнит поворачивается с сиденьем относительно основания, а датчик неподвижен относительно основания.
3. Система транспортного средства по п. 1, в которой магнит расположен на основании, а датчик расположен на сиденье, при этом датчик поворачивается с сиденьем относительно основания, а магнит неподвижен относительно основания.
4. Система транспортного средства по п. 1, в которой датчик включает в себя множество резисторов, скомпонованных в мосте Уитстона, выполненном с возможностью вывода первого сигнала смещения и второго сигнала смещения, оба в соответствии с ориентацией магнитного поля.
5. Система транспортного средства по п. 4, в которой первый сигнал смещения основан, по меньшей мере частично, на синусной функции, а второй сигнал смещения основан, по меньшей мере частично, на косинусной функции.
6. Система транспортного средства по п. 5, дополнительно содержащая процессор, запрограммированный на принятие первого сигнала смещения и второго сигнала смещения из датчика и определения углового смещения по первому сигналу смещения и второму сигналу смещения.
7. Система транспортного средства, содержащая:
основание;
сиденье, с возможностью поворота расположенное на основании;
круговое зубчатое колесо, расположенное на сиденье и выполненное с возможностью поворота в соответствии с поворотом сиденья;
магнит, генерирующий магнитное поле и отстоящий от кругового зубчатого колеса; и
датчик, запрограммированный для измерения углового смещения сиденья относительно основания на основе, по меньшей мере частично, магнитного поля, генерируемого магнитом относительно кругового зубчатого колеса.
8. Система транспортного средства по п. 7, в которой поворот кругового зубчатого колеса изменяет напряженность магнитного поля, при этом датчик запрограммирован для выявления поворота кругового зубчатого колеса на основе, по меньшей мере частично, изменения напряженности магнитного поля.
9. Система транспортного средства по п. 8, в которой круговое зубчатое колесо включает в себя множество зубцов и множество промежутков, при этом каждый промежуток расположен между двумя зубцами и определен дном впадины.
10. Система транспортного средства по п. 9, в которой магнит неподвижен относительно кругового зубчатого колеса, при этом магнитное поле нарастает, когда один из множества зубцов проходит возле магнита, и магнитное поле убывает, когда один из множества промежутков проходит возле магнита.
11. Система транспортного средства по п. 10, в которой датчик запрограммирован для вывода сигнала смещения, представляющего собой изменение напряженности магнитного поля.
12. Система транспортного средства по п. 11, дополнительно содержащая процессор, запрограммированный для приема сигнала смещения и определения углового смещения на основе, по меньшей мере частично, сигнала смещения.
13. Система транспортного средства по п. 12, в которой процессор запрограммирован для определения углового смещения посредством подсчета того, сколько зубцов прошли магнит во время поворота кругового зубчатого колеса.
14. Система транспортного средства по п. 13, в которой процессор запрограммирован для подсчета того, сколько зубцов прошло магнит на основе, по меньшей мере частично, изменения напряженности магнитного поля, представленного сигналом смещения.
15. Система транспортного средства, содержащая:
основание;
сиденье, с возможностью поворота расположенное на основании;
круговое зубчатое колесо, расположенное на сиденье и выполненное с возможностью поворота в соответствии с поворотом сиденья, при этом круговое зубчатое колесо включает в себя множество зубцов и множество промежутков, причем каждый промежуток расположен между двумя зубцами и определен дном впадины;
светоизлучающее устройство, выполненное с возможностью выработки света; и
датчик, запрограммированный для измерения углового смещения сиденья относительно основания на основе, по меньшей мере частично, света, вырабатываемого светоизлучающим устройством относительно кругового зубчатого колеса, при этом датчик выполнен с возможностью приема света, вырабатываемого светоизлучающим устройством, когда один из множества промежутков находится между светоизлучающим устройством и датчиком, причем по меньшей мере один из множества зубцов препятствует достижению светом датчика, когда по меньшей мере один из множества зубцов находится между светоизлучающим устройством и датчиком.
16. Система транспортного средства по п. 15, в которой светоизлучающее устройство неподвижно, в то время как поворачивается круговое зубчатое колесо.
17. Система транспортного средства по п. 15, в которой датчик запрограммирован для вывода сигнала смещения, представляющего собой то, был ли выявлен свет из светоизлучающего устройства.
18. Система транспортного средства по п. 17, дополнительно содержащая процессор, запрограммированный для приема сигнала смещения и определения углового смещения сиденья на основе, по меньшей мере частично, сигнала смещения.
19. Система транспортного средства по п. 18, в которой процессор запрограммирован для определения углового смещения посредством подсчета того, сколько зубцов прошли между светоизлучающим устройством и датчиком во время поворота кругового зубчатого колеса.
20. Система транспортного средства по п. 19, в которой процессор запрограммирован для подсчета того, сколько зубцов прошли между светоизлучающим устройством и датчиком на основе, по меньшей мере частично, изменения сигнала смещения.
