Abstract

1. Жидкокристаллическая панель, содержащая:жидкокристаллический материал, расположенный между парой подложек; и электроды, включая гребенчатые электроды, обеспечивающие возможность приложения к жидкокристаллическому материалу электрического поля, параллельного поверхностям подложек, причем жидкокристаллический материал содержит жидкокристаллический материал р-типа, который в отсутствие электрического поля ориентирован в направлении, перпендикулярном поверхностям подложек,каждый гребенчатый электрод имеет ширину не более 5 мкм, расстояние между электродами составляет не более 15 мкм,напряжения, подаваемые при управлении жидкокристаллической панелью на электроды, обеспечивающие возможность приложения к жидкокристаллическому материалу электрического поля, параллельного поверхностям подложек, отличаются друг от друга не менее чем на 7В, ажидкокристаллический материал р-типа имеет диэлектрическую анизотропию Δε и анизотропию Δn показателя преломления, причем их произведение лежит в диапазоне от 0,9 до 2,5.2. Жидкокристаллическая панель по п.1, в которой:указанные электроды является пиксельными электродами и общим электродом, расположенными на одной из подложек указанной пары подложек, аиз пиксельных электродов и общего электрода по меньшей мере пиксельные электроды являются гребенчатыми электродами.3. Жидкокристаллическая панель по п.2, в которой на другой подложке указанной пары подложек также расположен общий электрод с покрытием всей отображающей области.4. Claims (6)

1. Жидкокристаллическая панель, содержащая:
жидкокристаллический материал, расположенный между парой подложек; и электроды, включая гребенчатые электроды, обеспечивающие возможность приложения к жидкокристаллическому материалу электрического поля, параллельного поверхностям подложек, причем жидкокристаллический материал содержит жидкокристаллический материал р-типа, который в отсутствие электрического поля ориентирован в направлении, перпендикулярном поверхностям подложек,
каждый гребенчатый электрод имеет ширину не более 5 мкм, расстояние между электродами составляет не более 15 мкм,
напряжения, подаваемые при управлении жидкокристаллической панелью на электроды, обеспечивающие возможность приложения к жидкокристаллическому материалу электрического поля, параллельного поверхностям подложек, отличаются друг от друга не менее чем на 7В, а
жидкокристаллический материал р-типа имеет диэлектрическую анизотропию Δε и анизотропию Δn показателя преломления, причем их произведение лежит в диапазоне от 0,9 до 2,5.
2. Жидкокристаллическая панель по п.1, в которой:
указанные электроды является пиксельными электродами и общим электродом, расположенными на одной из подложек указанной пары подложек, а
из пиксельных электродов и общего электрода по меньшей мере пиксельные электроды являются гребенчатыми электродами.
3. Жидкокристаллическая панель по п.2, в которой на другой подложке указанной пары подложек также расположен общий электрод с покрытием всей отображающей области.
4. Жидкокристаллическая панель по п.1, в которой:
указанные электроды содержат по меньшей мере два пиксельных электрода, расположенных на одной из подложек указанной пары подложек;
указанные по меньшей мере два пиксельных электрода являются гребенчатыми электродами;
при управлении жидкокристаллической панелью к соответствующим любым смежным электродам из указанных по меньшей мере двух пиксельных электродов прикладывают напряжения, фазы которых противоположны друг другу, а
по меньшей мере на одной из подложек указанной пары подложек расположен общий электрод.
5. Жидкокристаллическая панель по п.4, в которой:
указанная одна из подложек указанной пары подложек содержит более одной линии данных, приходящейся на затворную линию;
в соответствующих областях, в которых линии данных пересекаются с затворными линиями, расположены переключающие элементы;
причем указанные любые смежные электроды из указанных по меньшей мере двух пиксельных электродов соединены с соответствующими смежными переключающими элементами вдоль соответствующей затворной линии, а
каждый пиксель содержит (i) по меньшей мере два переключающих элемента, смежных друг с другом вдоль соответствующей затворной линии, и (ii) по меньшей мере два пиксельных электрода, соединенных с указанными соответствующими по меньшей мере двумя переключающими элементами.
6. Жидкокристаллическое дисплейное устройство, содержащее жидкокристаллическую панель по любому из пп.1-5.
