Abstract

Prezenta inventie se refera la un procedeu pentru prepararea unor derivati de 4''-epi-eritromicina cu formula generala I: (vezi formula) în care R1 si R2 separat reprezinta fiecare hidrogen sau împreuna reprezinta grupa -C=O, caracterizat prin aceea ca un derivat de 4''-epieritromicina cu formula generala II: (vezi formula) se hidrogeneaza în prezenta de nichel Ranney în mediu de etanol ca solvent inert, la o presiune de circa 3,5 kgf/cm2, la temperatura ambianta, urmata eventual de reactia cu o halogenura acida sau anhidrida cu formulele generale: RCl Rbr sau R2O R fiind un radical alcanoil cu 2 sau 3 atomi de carbon sau etilsuccinil pentru înlocuirea atomului de hidrogen din pozitia 3', în mediu de acetona sa7u clorura de metilen, la temperatura camerei sau transformarea produsului în care R1 si R2 sunt fiecare hidrogen într-un compus în care R3 si R4 împreuna formeaza -C=O prin reactia cu carbonat de etilena în mediu de acetat de etil, la temperatura de reflux si transformarea produsului într-o sare farmaceutic acceptabila, prin reactia cu un acid adecvat, în conditii cunoscute.
