Abstract
Inventia se refera la un procedeu de preparare a benzoatului de butil din acidul benzoic si butanol, în care esterificarea acidului benzoic cu butanol se realizeaza initial în exces de componenta acida la un raport molar acid benzoic: butanol de 1: 0,8 la o temperatura de reactie de 140....150 degree C, folosind drept catalizator acid benzensulfonic 0,006.....0,01 mol la mol de acid benzoic cu separarea prin distilare a apei de reactie si recircularea butanolului umed în sistem dupa care se începe adaugarea de butanol uscat mentinînd debitul de distilare si temperatura constanta pana la scaderea aciditatii amestecului de reactie la 15....20 mg KOH/g dupa care se trece la colectarea butanoluluiumed pîna ca aciditatea scade la 5...10 mg KOH/g cînd se opreste suplimentarea de butanol uscat si se distileaza excesul de butanol aplicînd treptat vid la instalatie, pîna la o presiune remanenta de 80....100 bar si aciditate a esterului brut de 3....5 mg KOH/g.
