Claims (1)

  1. REIVINDICAÇÕES la. - Processo para interromper uma reacção de polimerização de olefina(s) em fase gasosa num reactor em fase gasosa de baixa pressão, que compreende a introdução duma quantidade eficaz de um agente de desactivação dentro do reactor, caracterizado pelo facto de se realizar a polimerização das olefinas utilizando um catalizador de óxido de crómio, se escolher o agente de desactivação do grupo formado por oxigénio, amoníaco, água e monóxido de carbono e a sua introdução no reactor se realizar durante um intervalo de tempo relativamente curto. 2a. - Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de a quantidade de agente de desactivação introduzida estar compreendida entre cerca de 1 a 20 vezes a quantidade minima necessária para interromper a polimerização da(s) olefina(s). 3a. - Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de a quantidade do agente de desactivação introduzida estar compreendida dentro do intervalo de 2 a 3 vezes a quantidade minima necessária para interromper a polimerização da(s) olefina(s). 4a. - Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de o agente de desactivação ser • 21
    oxigénio e ser introduzido numa quantidade compreendida dentro dum intervalo de 2 a 80 gramas por quilograma de catalisador empregada. 5a. - Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de o agente de desactivação ser água e ser introduzido numa quantidade compreendida dentro dum intervalo de 10 a 80 gramas por quilograma de catalisador. 6a. - Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 1, caracterizado pelo facto de o agente de desactivação ser monóxido de carbono e ser introduzido numa quantidade compreendida dentro dum intervalo de 3 a 130 gramas por quilograma de catatlizador. 7a. - Processo de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações 1 a 6, caracterizado pelo facto de se cessar a alimentação de catalisador ao reactor. 8a. - Processo de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações 1 a 7, caracterizado pelo facto de se cessar a alimentação de olefina(s) ao reactor. 9a. - Processo de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações 1 a 8, caracterizado pelo facto de se interromper a introdução dum composto organometálico no reactor. 10a. - Processo de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações 1 a 9, caracterizado pelo facto de a introdução do agente de desactivação no reactor se realizar durante um intervalo de tempo mais curto do que 5 minutos.
    11a. - Processo de acordo com qualquer das reivindicações 1 a 10, caracterizado pelo facto de o reactor empregado ser um reactor em leito fluidizado. 12a. - Processo de acordo com a reivindicação 11, caracterizado pelo facto de o catalizador ter a forma de um pré-polimero.
