The essence of the design is a new form of the item manifested in the shape of the sides, backrest, and seat. In a side view, they have the form of a figure with an outline formed by an approximately horizontal lower section, passing through an arced front section into a straight upper section rising towards the backrest, and arching into a rear section descending towards the front of the furniture, reaching the lower section. The sides are in a position in which they cover only part of the seat and side walls. The front of the furniture remains exposed. The backrest has a roughly horizontal upper section that arches into the side sections. The seat and front wall, viewed from the front, resemble a trapezoid, the longer base of which, constituting the lower edge of the front wall, forms a gentle arc with an upward bulge. The lower edge of the side walls forms an arc with a large upward bulge. The pouffe consists of a seat and a base, the lower edges of which form an upward bulge.
