EkstrusjonskokT cerealprodukt som er i lettfmt spiselig form. Det cereale produktet inneholder et avfattet havreklikonsentrat som har et 6-glukaninnhold på minst 10 vekt- % og i en mengde slik at der cereale produktet har et B-glukaninnhold på minst 5 vekt- %. Det cereale produktet i oppløsning skaffer tilveie en viskositet som er minst så stor som viskositeten som er tilveiebrakt av komponentene i det cereale produktet før det blir ekstrusjonskokt. Det cereale produktet er nynig i behandling og profylakse av diabetes.
