Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår en partikkelseparator for oppsamling og manipulering av målpartikler, for eksempel målceller i et lukket sterilt område. I ett område blir forhold med lukket sterilt område opprettholdt fra separasjon gjennom konsentrasjon og/eller kryobehandlingstrinn og/eller transfusjon. Bevaring av lukkede sterile forhold er oppnådd ved bruk av de samme integrert koplede kar for oppsam- ling og konsentrasjon og overføring via integrert koplede rer til et kar for kryopreservering og/eller transfusjon. I en utførelse kan en grad av celle- konsentrasjon oppnås, mens man opprettholder forhold med lukket område, ved å bruke en hulfiberanordning, fortrinnsvis i en linje mellom kolonnen og oppsam- lingen. I en annen utførelse, blir hulfiber- anordningen brukt istedenfor kolonnen for å oppnå cellevasking.
