Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA LOCALIZAR O NìVEL DE LEITO DE PARTìCULAS SEDIMENTADAS DENTRO DE UMA SUSPENSãO LìQUIDA E PARA IDENTIFICAR UMA NéVOA DE PARTìCULA NãO SEDIMENTADA DENTRO DE UM TANQUE DE SEDIMENTAçãO, E, SISTEMA PARA DETERMINAR O NìVEL DE LEITO DE PARTìCULAS SEDIMENTADAS EM UMA SUSPENSãO". A invenção fornece um sistema e processo para monitorar a dinâmica de movimento de partícula em um meio líquido - sólido incluindo a taxa de sedimentação das partículas, a identificação de névoas de partícula não sedimentada, e a identificação e controle do nível de leito de partículas sedimentadas em uma suspensão dentro de um sedimentador. O sistema inclui um transdutor de ultra-som e um receptor para detectar ecos das partículas na suspensão. Os ecos são processadas para determinar o nível de leito das partículas sedimentadas, a posição de névoas de partícula não sedimentada, e a taxa de sedimentação das névoas de partícula.
