Abstract

Det er beskrevet en fremgangsmåte for utvinning av hydrogen fra vann ved termokjemisk fremgangsmåte, hvorved vannet reduseres ved hjelp av et metall og det dannede metalloksydet reduseres deretter ved hjelp av et i en endotermlsk kjemisk reaksjon oppnådd reduk- sjonsmiddel og føres på nytt inn l reaksjonsprosessen. Fremgangsmåten er kjennetegnet ved at den endotermlske reaksjonen for frembringelse av reduksjonsmiddelet foregår under tilførsel av solenergi. Det er videre beskrevet en innretning for gjennomføring av fremgangs- måten.
