Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for behandling av avløp så som ubehandlet biologisk avløp som innbefatter en primær klarer (1) hvor faststoffer av slam sedimenteres ut fra en væskeholdig fraksjon av slam. Faststoffer av slam føres til en råtnetank (2) hvor faststoffer av slammet gjennomgår anaerobisk råtning for å fremstille utråt- net slam og biogass. Det utråtnede slammet awannes og den væskeholdige slamfraksjonen og den væske- holdige komponenten av det awannede utråtnede slammet føres til en aktiv slamtank (6). De oppnådde faststoffer av aktiv slam blir så konsentrert ved sedi- mentering, awanning og flokkulering ved alkalinsk og sure betingelser. De oppnådde surgjorte faststoffer av aktivt slam blir først nøytralisert og føres så til en blander- og tørkeapparat (5) hvor fast- stoffene blandes med aktiv-slammet og tørkes ved å anvende biogassen som et brennstoff.
