Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår propionsyreholdige blandinger i fast stoff og i det vesentlige ren form omfattende minst én forbindelse med formel (I) (Mn+)(H+)x(CH3CH2C(O)O-)(n+x) (I), hvor Mn+ er en n-valent alkalimetall kation eller jordalkalimetall kation, n er lik 1 eller 2; og x er et tall i området fra 0,25 til 5; med det forbehold at x ikke er i området fra 0,75 til 1,75 når Mn+ er kalium; en fremgangsmåte for å fremstille slike propionsyreholdige blandinger; og også anvendelse av slike blandinger som siloadditiv, konserveringsmiddel, surgjører, matsupplement, fôrstoff eller fôrstoffadditiv for dyrefôr.
