I henhold til ett aspekt angår oppfinnelsen en lavdensitetsetylenpolymer som har en smelteindeks MFR2 på fra 2,5 til 10 g/10 min, en densitet på fra 910 til 935 kg/m3, og en dynamisk viskositet ?0,05, ved en skjærhastighet på 0,05 rad/s og en dynamisk viskositet ?300, ved en skjærhastighet på 300 rad/s, som tilfredsstiller den følgende sammenheng: ?300 = 108 + 0,0253· ?0,05. I henhold til et andre aspekt angår oppfinnelsen en lavdensitetsetylenpolymer som har en smelteindeks MFR2 på fra 2,5 til 10 g/10 min, en densitet på fra 910 til 935 kg/m3 og enn fasevinkel d0,5 ved en frekvens på 0,5 rad/s og en fasevinkel tan d300 ved en frekvens på 300 rad/s, som tilfredsstiller den følgende sammenheng: tan d300 = 0,45 + 0,164 ¿ tan d0,5.
