Abstract

Apparat og fremgangsmåte for å produsere fiberkomposittstøpninger ved hjelp av vakuuminfusjon som bruker en form med et formhulrom, flere innløpskanaler (3, 21, 22) som kommuniserer med formhulrommet og en polymerkilde (7) med flytende polymer, hvor flere vakuumkanaler (2) kommuniserer med formhulrommet og en vakuumkilde (10), hvor fibermateriale (14) blir satt inn i formhulrommet før fylling av formen, og hvor et negativt trykk blir generert i vakuumkanalene (2) og således i formhulrommet med det resultat at flytende polymer blir suget fra polymerkilden (7) via innløpskanalene (3, 21, 22) inn i formhulrommet. En eller flere av innløpskanalene (3, 21, 22) kan også kommunisere med en vakuumkilde, og/eller en eller flere av vakuumkanalene (2) kan også kommunisere med en polymerkilde (7).
