Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer en høy-styrke tykk stålplate som har en platetykkelse på 50 til 80 mm og en strekkfasthet på 490 til 570 MPa som er i stand til å realisere en utmerket HAZ-seighet selv når sveising med en varmetilførsel på 20 til 100 kJ/mm utføres og er kjennetegnet ved å inneholde, i vekt-%, 0,03-0,14% C, 0,30% eller mindre Si, 0,8-2,0% Mn, 0,02% eller mindre P, 0,005% eller mindre S, 0,8-4,0% Ni, 0,003-0,040% Nb, 0,001-0,040% Al, 0,0010-0,0100% N, og 0,005-0,030% Ti, hvor Ni og Mn tilfredsstiller ligning [1], og balansen er jern og uunngåelige forurensninger: Ni/Mn>10xCeq-3 (0,36<Ceq<0,42) [1] hvor, Ceq=C+Mn/6+(Cr+Mo+V)/5+(Ni+Cu)/15
