Abstract
Det beskrives en katalysator, omfattende en porøs bærer, som i det minste til én side oppviser åpnede hulrom, hvorved åpningen i det minste langs én utstrekningsretning oppvier en diameter på rundt 0,7 til rundt 20 nm, med en spesifikk overflate på minst 500 m2/g, samt en beladning med minst én katalytisk aktivmetallkomponent på minst 2,5m2 per gram katalysator. Det beskrives videre en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av en slik katalysator, samt katalysatorens anvendelse ved metanolsyntese eller som reformer i brenselscelleteknologien.
