Donepezilhydroklorid, l-benzyl-4- [(5,6-dimetoksy-l-indanon)-2-yl]metylpiperidinhydroklorid, er tilveiebragt i form av tie polymorfer som er stabile overfor varme og fiikti^et ved farmasøytisk anvendelse. De kan fremstilles industrielt. De er spesifisert ved hjelp av topper i røntgen-pulverdiffrak- sjonsmønstie og absorpsjonstopper i IR absorpsjonsspektere i kaliumbromid.
