Abstract

Et formål for den foreliggende oppfinnelse er å tilveiebringe en grohemmende malingssammensetning som viser en utmerket grohemmende virkning i sjøvann i en lengre tidsperiode, og som har utmerket adhesjon og rebeleggingsegenskaper til et substrat. Den foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører en grohemmende malingssammensetning som omfatter en kopolymer som er oppnådd ved polymerisering av en monomerblanding omfattende silisiuminneholdende polymeriserbar monomer (a) med to (met)akryl-endegrupper, og som inneholder bivalent metallatom. Kopolymeren er også oppnådd ved polymerisering av en monomerblanding omfattende silisuminneholdende polymeriserbar monomer (b) med en (met)akryl endegruppe, og metallatominneholdende polymeriserbar monomer (c1) med to umettede grupper og metallatom valgt fra Mg, Zn og Cu.
