Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en alkoksylatblanding med formel (1) hvor PO er en propylenoksyenhet, EO er en etylenoksyenhet, n har en gjennomsnittsverdi i området 1,6-3,3 pr. 2-etylheksyl-gruppe og m har en gjeimomsnittverdi i området 3,0-5,5 pr. 2-efylheksyl- gruppe og som inneholder mindre enn 1,5 vekt% av ureagert 2-efylheksanol; den nevnte blandingen oppnås ved reagering av 2-etylheksanol i et første trinn med propylenoksid og i et andre trinn den oppnådde propoksylerte blandingen med etylenoksid. Alkoksylatblandingen er et godt overflateaktivt rensemiddel og fiiktemiddel og er også lett biologisk nedbrytbar.
