Abstract

Fremgangsmåter for effektiv og økonomisk oppreding av titanholdig malm tilveiebringes. En enestående prosess for oppreding av malm omfatter forbehandling av malmen ved oksidasjon og reduksjon, etterfulgt av syreutluting med svovelsyre er blitt utviklet. Syren anvendt i derme prosess kan resirkuleres, noe som derved vil øke effektiviteten av prosessen. Foretrukket er den malm som behandles ifølge den foreliggende oppfirmelse ilmenittmalm.
