Et DNA omfattende basesekvensen representert av SEQ ID NO: 1; et DNA med en basesekvens utledet fra basesekvensen representert ved SEQ ID NO: 1 ved delesjon, addisjon, insersjon og/eller substitusjon av en eller flere basert og kodende et protein med en dekaprenyldifosfat syntaseaktivitet; eller et DNA som hybridiserer med DNA omfattende basesekvensen representert ved SEQ ID NO: 1 under stringente betingelser og med en dekaprenyldifosfat syntaseaktivitet.
