Abstract
Synergistiske antifungale preparater inneholder tebukonazol og propikonazol for behandling av planter eller disses loci, eller for bruk ved trepreservering eller beskyttelse av bionedbrytbare materialer.En fremgangsmåte for behandling av plantene omfatter administrering av tebukonazol og propikonazol.Det beskrives en fremgangsmåte for beskyttelse av tre, treprodukter og bionedbrytbare materialer fra fungalangrep og destruksjon.
Description
Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår et antifungalt, synergistisk preparat inneholdende propikonazol og tebukonazol.
Forskjellige klasser forbindelser er kjent som antimikrobielle og spesielt antifugale forbindelser. Blant disse klasser er gruppen imidazol- og triazolderivater av spesiell interesse og flere slike forbindelser benyttes nu hyppig som antimikrobiotika og spesielt som antifugale midler.
Videre er det kjent fungicide kombinasjoner omfattende to eller flere slike fungicide aktive forbindelser, for eksempel fra EP-A-0 237 764.
Det er nu funnet at de fungicide forbindelser propikonazol og tebukonazol virker synergistisk.
I henhold til dette angår foreliggende oppfinnelse et antifungalt, synergistisk preparat, og dette karakteriseres ved at det består av eller inneholder (a) tebukonazol eller et salt derav, (b) propikonazol, et salt, en stereoisomer eller en stereoisomerblanding derav, idet vektforholdet mellom de to aktive bestanddeler, (a):(b), ligger innen området 50:1 til 1:50.
Propikonazol som nevnt ovenfor er det generiske navn for forbindelsen 1-[[2-(2,4-diklorfenyl)-4-propyl-l,3-dioksolan-2-yl]metyl-lH-l,2,4-triazol, en forbindelse som kan representeres ved formelen
Denne forbindelse, dens syntese så vel som de antifugale egenskaper som beskrevet i US-PS 4 079 062.
Tebukonazol som nevnt ovenfor er det generiske navn for forbindelsen a-[2-(4-klorfenyl )etyl]-a-(1,1-dimetyletyl )-lH-1,2,4-triazol-l-etanol, en forbindelse som kan representeres ved formelen
Denne forbindelse, dens syntese så vel' som dens antifungale egenskaper er beskrevet i EP-A-0 040 345 og EP-A-0 052 424.
De aktive bestanddeler for bruk i preparatene ifølge oppfinnelsen kan benyttes som stereokjemi ske blandinger eller som rene stereoisomerer. Spesielt kan propikonazol opptre som 2,4-cis- eller 2 ,4-trans-isomerer. 2 ,4-cis-isomeren benyttes fortrinnsvis i oppfinnelsens preparater. Man kan videre benyttes stereokjemiske blandinger inneholdende overveiende (mer enn 505é) av cis-isomeren.
De aktive bestanddeler (I) og (II) kan være til stede i base-eller i saltform idet den sistnevnte oppnås ved omsetning av baseformen med en egnet syre. Egnede syrer er for eksempel uorganiske syrer som flussyre, saltsyre, hydrobrom- og hydrojodsyre, videre svovel-, salpeter-, fosforsyre og lignende; eller organiske syrer som for eksempel eddik-, propan-, hydroksyeddik-, 2-oksopropan-, 2-hydroksypropan-, etandion-, propandion-, butandion-, (Z)-2-butendion-, (E)-2-butendion-, 2-hydroksybutandion-, 2,3-dihydroksybutandion-, 2-hydroksy-l,2,3-propantrikarboksyl-, metansulfon-, etan-sulfon-, benzensulfon-, 4-metylbenzensulfon-, cykloheksan-sulfamin-, 2-hydroksybenzo-, 4-amino-2-hydroksybenzosyre og lignende syrer.
"Uttrykket "saltform" omfatter også metallkomplekser som de basiske forbindelsene (I) eller (II) kan danne. En av komponentene kan opptre som et kompleks og det andre ikke eller begge kan opptre som kompleks. Metallkomplekser som nevnt ovenfor består av et kompleks dannet mellom ett eller flere molekyler av den aktive bestanddel og ett eller flere organiske eller uorganiske metallsalter. Eksempler på de organiske eller uorganiske metallsalter er halogenider, nitrater, sulfater, fosfater, acetater, trifluoracetater, trikloracetater, propionater, tartrater, sulfonater som metan- eller 4-metylbenzensulfonater, salicylater, benzoater og lignende, av metallene fra den andre hovedgruppe i det periodiske system, det vil si magnesium- eller kalsium-saltene, eller fra tredje eller fjerde hovedgruppe, for eksempel aluminium, tinn, bly og lignende metaller så vel som metaller fra den første til åttende overgangsgruppe i det periodiske system som krom, mangan, jern, kobolt, nikkel, kobber, sink og lignende. Foretrukket er metaller som hører til overgangselementene i den fjerde periode. Metallene kan være til stede i en hvilken som helst av sine mulige valenser. Kompleksene kan være mono- eller polynukleære og kan inneholde en eller flere deler av det organiske molekyl som ligander.
Uttrykket "salt" slik det her benyttes, omfatter også solvatene som forbindelsene propikonazol og tebukonazol er i stand til å danne. Eksempler på slike solvater er for eksempel hydrater, alkoholater og lignende.
Det synergistiske preparat ifølge oppfinnelsen er mest brukbart for å bekjempe fungi eller forhindre vekst derav i planter og loci derav; spesielt i planteprodukter inkludert vev, i tremasse for papirfremstilling; og også i bionedbrytbare materialer som for eksempel tekstiler av naturlige fibre som bomull, flax, hamp, ull, silke og lignende; tekstiler av syntetiske fibre som polyamid-, polyakrylnitril- eller polyesterfibre, eller blandinger av slike fibre; belegg som oljemalinger, dispersjonsmalinger, lakker, lakkfilmer, hvittevask, finishmaling og lignende; lim og andre materialer som er bionedbrytbare av fungi.
Det synergistiske preparat ifølge oppfinnelsen er aktivt mot et bredt område av fungi. Som eksempler på slike fungi skal nevnes Ascomycetes (for eksempel Venturia, Podosphaera, Erysiphe, Monilinia, Uncinula, Aureobasidium, Sclerophoma); Baidiomycetes (for eksempel Hemileia, Rhizoctonia, Puccinia, Coniophora, Serpula, Poria, Uromyces, Gloeophyllum, Lentinus, Coriolus, Irpex); Fungi imperfecti (for eksempel Botrytis, Helminthosporium, Rhynchosporium, Fusarium, Septoria, Cercospora, Alternaria, Pyricularia, Penicillium, Geotrichum).
De synergiske preparater ifølge oppfinnelsen har fordelaktig kurativ, preventiv og systemisk fungicid aktivitet for beskyttelse av planter og spesielt kulturplanter. Oppfinnelsen kan benyttes for å beskytte planter eller deler av planter, for eksempel frukter, blomster, bladverk, stammer, røtter, stengler av planter eller kulturplanter som er infisert, skadet eller ødelagt av mikroorganismer hvorved senere vekstdeler av plantene beskyttes mot slike mikroorganismer. De kan videre benyttes ved frødisinfeksjon (frukt, cerealkorn og lignende), for å behandle planteavkutt så vel som for å bekjempe fytopatogene fungi som opptrer i jorden. Preparatene ifølge oppfinnelsen er spesielt attraktive på grunn av sine gode plantetoleranse og mangel på omgivelsesproblemer.
Som eksempel på det vide spektrum av kulturplanter der kombinasjonen av aktive bestanddeler ifølge oppfinnelsen kan benyttes skal for eksempel nevne korn som hvete, bygg, rug, havre, ris, durra og lignende; beter, for eksempel sukker- og rødbeter; eple- og stenfrukter og bær, epler, pærer, plommer, fersken, mandler, kirsebær, jordbær, bringebær og solbær; belgfrøplanter som bønner, linser, erter, soyabønner; oljeholdige planter som raps, sennep, oliven, solsikke, kokos, castoroljeplante, kakao, jordnøtter; agurkplanter som gresskar, gherkiner, meloner, agurker, squash; fiberplanter som bomull, flax, hamp og jute; sitrusfrukter som appelsin, sitron, grapefrukt eller mandarin; grønnsaker som spinat, salat eller asparges; kålplanter som kål og turnips; gulrøtter, løk, tomater, poteter, peppere; laubærlignende planter som avocado, kanel eller kamfertre; eller planter som mais, tobakk, nøtter, kaffe, sukkerrør, te, vin, humle, bananer eller gummiplanter så vel som prydplanter av alle typer og eviggrønne trær som koniferer. Denne oppsummering er kun illustrerende og ikke begrensende.
En spesiell måte for administrering av et synergistisk preparat inneholdende de aktive bestanddeler (I) og (II) er administrering til den del av planten som er over bakken, spesielt bladene (bladpåføring). Antall påføringer og administrerte doser velges i henhold til biologiske og klimatiske betingelser for livet til årsaken. De aktive bestanddeler kan imidlertid også påføres gjennom jorden og komme inn i plantene gjennom rotsystemet (systemisk virkning), i dette tilfellet blir plantenes locus besprøytet med et flytende preparat eller forbindelsene tilsettes til jordsmonnet som fast formulering, for eksempel i form av et granulat (jordpåføring). Forbindelsene (I) og (II) kan også belegges på frø, i dette tilfellet blir såkorn skyllet konsekutivt med et flytende preparat av den aktive bestanddel .
De synergistiske preparater ifølge oppfinnelsen er også brukbare som trepreserverende midler, for eksempel mot treødeleggende eller tremisfarvende fungi. Som treverk som kan preserveres med de synergistiske preparater ifølge oppfinnelsen skal for eksempel nevnes treprodukter som tømmer og lignende, jernbanesviller, telefonstolper, gjerder, vinduer og dører, finér, sponplater og andre, alle typer treprodukter som generelt benyttes ved husbygging, konstruk-sjon og snekkervirksomhet.
Treverk som bevares fra flekking, misfarving og nedbrytning er ment å beskyttes for eksempel fra mugning, råte, tap av brukbare mekaniske egenskaper som bruddstyrke, støtmotstands-evne eller skjærstyrke, eller en reduksjon av de optiske eller andre brukbare egenskaper på grunn av opptredenen av lukt, flekking eller annen ugunstig påvirkning. Disse fenomener forårsakes av et antall mikroorganismer av hvilke de følgende er typiske eksempler: Aspergillus species, Penicillium species, Aureobasidium pullulans, Sclerophoma pityophilla, Verticillium species, Alternaria species, Rhizopus species, Mucor species, Paecilomyces species, Saccharomyces species, Trichoderma viride, Chaetomium globosum, Stachybotrys atra, Myrothecium verrucaria, Oospora lactis og andre flekkende og trenedbrytende fungi. Spesielt vekt skal legges på god virkning mot mugg- og flekkende fungi som Aureobasidium pullulans, Sclerophoma pityophilla, Aspergillus niger, Penicillium funiculosum, Trichoderma viride, Alternaria alternata, nedbrytning og mykråtefungi som Chaetomium globosum, Trychophyton mentagophytes, Coriolus versicolor, Coniophora puteana, Poria monticola, Merulius (Serpula) lacrymans og Gloephyllum trabeum, og gjær som Candida albicans og Saccharomyces species. Andre eventuelle fungi er for eksempel Penicillium glaucum, Pasecilomyces variotii, Cladosporium herbarum, Ceratocystis species, Lentinus lepideus, Trametes versicolor og Stereum hirsutum.
For å beskytte treverk fra nedbrytning blir dette behandlet med synergistiske preparater ifølge oppfinnelsen. En slik behandling gjennomføres ved forskjellige prosedyrer som for eksempel behandling av treverket i lukkede trykk- eller vakuumsystemer, i termiske eller dyppesystemer og lignende, eller ved et vidt spektrum av overflatebehandlinger som børsting, dypping, spraying eller gjennomtrekking av treverket med en formulering inneholdende de trepreserverende midlene propikonazol og tebukonazol.
Synergistiske preparater ifølge oppfinnelsen kan også med fordel påføres i cellulose- og papirindustrien, spesielt for å beskytte tremasse for papirfremstilling fra angrep fra fungi.
Mengden av hver aktive bestanddel propikonazol (I) og tebukonazol (II) i de synergistiske preparater ifølge oppfinnelsen er slik at en synergistisk antifungal virkning oppnås ved påføring. Spesielt er det ansett at i blandinger som skal benyttes direkte, vil konsentrasjonen av tebukonazol, tatt som base-ekvivalent, ligge i området 10 til 15 000 ppm, og spesielt fra 50 til 12 000 ppm, helst fra 50 til 6 000 ppm, og spesielt fra 100 til 3 000 ppm; mens konsentrasjonen av propikonazol som base-ekvivalent er tilsiktet å ligge i området 10 til 15 000 ppm, spesielt 50 til 10 000 ppm, fortrinnsvis 100 til 8 000 ppm og aller helst 200 til 6 000 ppm. I mange tilfeller vil preparatene som skal benyttes direkte kunne oppnås fra konsentrater ved fortynning med vandige eller organiske media, slike konsentrater er også ment å ligge innenfor oppfinnelsens ramme. Innholdet av de aktive bestanddeler i de ovenfor angitte preparater er fra 0,01 til 95$, fortrinnsvis fra 0,1 til 50$, helst fra 0,1 til 20$ og aller helst fra 0,2 til 15 vekt-$. Preparatene ifølge oppfinnelsen benyttes fortrinnsvis i form av oppløsninger.
Forholdet mellom aktive bestanddeler med formlene (I) og (II) i de synergistiske preparater kan variere innen relativt brede områder og vil være avhengig av den tilsiktede anvendelse, imidlertid vil forholdet være slik at en synergistisk fungicid virkning oppnås med begge aktive bestanddeler. Spesielt benyttes et vektforhold mellom de aktive bestanddeler (I) og (II), altså propikonazol:tebukonazol som ligger mellom 50:1 og 1:50, spesielt mellom 20:1 og 1:20, fortrinnsvis mellom 10:1 og 1:10, og aller helst mellom 5:1 og 1:5.
De aktive bestanddeler med formlene (I) og (II) benyttes i ikke-modifisert form eller sammen med hjelpemidler som konvensjonelt benyttes ved slik formulering. Formuleringene, det vil si preparatene, preparatene eller lignende inneholdende de aktive bestanddeler og der det er hensiktsmessig, et fast eller flytende hjelpemiddel, fremstilles ved kjente teknikker, for eksempel ved homogen blanding og/eller oppmaling av de aktive bestanddeler med drøyemidler, for eksempel oppløsningsmidler, faste bærere og der det er hensiktsmessig, overflateaktive forbindelser, til emulgerbare konsentrater, direkte spraybare eller fortynnbare oppløs-ninger, fortynnende emulsjoner, fuktbare pulvere, oppløselige pulvere, støv, granulater og også innkapslinger, for eksempel i polymerstoffer. På samme måte som når det gjelder arten av blandingen, vil metoden for påføring som for eksempel spraying, forstøvning, støving, utstrøing eller helling, børsting, drypping eller dynking eller impregnering, velges i henhold til de tilsiktede mål og de foreliggende omstendig-heter .
Egnede bærere og hjelpemidler for bruk i preparatene ifølge oppfinnelsen kan foreligge i fast eller flytende form og tilsvarer egnede stoffer som er kjent i denne teknikk for fremstilling av formuleringer for behandling av planter eller disses loci, eller for behandling av planteprodukter, og spesielt for behandling av treverk, for eksempel naturlige eller regenererte mineralstoffer, oppløsningsmidler, dispergeringsmidler, overflateaktive midler, fuktemidler, adhesiver, fortykkere, bindemidler, gjødningsstoffer, anti-frysemidler og andre aktive bestanddeler.
De faste bærere benyttes for eksempel for støv og disper-gerbare pulvere og er vanligvis naturlige mineralfyllstoffer som kalsitt, talkum, kaolin, montmorillonitt eller attapul-gitt. For å forbedre de fysikalske egenskaper er det også mulig å tilsette høydispergert silisiumsyre eller høydisper-gerte absorberende polymerer. Egnede granulerte absorberende bærere er av porøs type, for eksempel pimpsten, knust teglsten, sepiolitt eller bentonitt og egnede ikke-absorberende bærere er materialer som kalsitt eller sand. I tillegg kan et stort antall forgranulerte stoffer av uorganisk eller organisk natur benyttes, for eksempel spesielt dolomitt eller pulveriserte planterester.
Egnede oppløsningsmidler er aromatiske hydrokarboner, fortrinnsvis fraksjoner inneholdende 8 til 12 karbonatomer, for eksempel dimetylbenzenblandinger eller substituerte naftalener, ftalater som dibutylftalat eller dioktylftalat, alifatiske eller alicykliske hydrokarboner som cykloheksan eller paraffiner, alkoholer og glykoler og disses estre og etre som etanol, etylenglykol, etylenglykolmonometyl- eller monoetyleter, ketoner som cykloheksanon, sterkt polare oppløsningsmidler som N-metyl-2-pyrrolidon, dimetylsulfoksyd eller dimetylformamid, så vel som vegetabilske oljer eller epoksyderte vegetabilske oljer som for eksempel epoksydert kokosolje eller soyabønneolje; eller vann.
Egnede overflateaktive forbindelser som kan benyttes i preparatene ifølge oppfinnelsen er ikke-ioniske, kationiske eller anioniske overflateaktive midler med gode emulgerende, dispergerende og fukteegenskaper. Uttrykket "overflateaktive midler" skal også omfatte blandinger av overflateaktive midler.
Egne anioniske overflateaktive midler kan være både vann-oppløselige seper og vannoppløselige syntetiske overflateaktive forbindelser.
Egnede seper er alikalimetallsaltene, jordalkalimetallsaltene eller de usubstituerte eller substituerte ammoniumsalter av høyere fettsyre, det vil si C^Q_22-fe"t'tsyre» f°r eksempel natrium- eller kaliumsaltene av olje- eller stearinsyre, eller av naturlige fettsyreblandinger som kan oppnås for eksempel fra kokosnøttolje eller tallolje. I tillegg kan det også nevnes fettsur metyltaurinsalter.
Hyppigst benyttes det imidlertid såkalte syntetiske overflateaktive midler, spesielt fettsulfonater, fettsulfater, sulfonerte benzimidazolderivater eller alkylarylsulfonater. Fettsulfonatene eller -sulfatene benyttes vanligvis i form av alkali- eller jordalkalimetallsalter eller usubstituerte eller substituerte ammoniumsalter og inneholder en alkylrest med fra 8 til 22 karbonatomer, hvorved alkyl også omfatter rester avledet fra acylrester, for eksempel natrium- eller kalsiumsaltet av lignosulfonsyre, av dodecylsulfat eller en blanding av fettalkoholsulfater oppnådd fra naturlige fettsyrer. Disse forbindelser omfatter også salter av svovelsyreestre og sulfonsyrer av fettalkohol-etylenoksyd-addukter. Det sulfonerte benzimidazolderivat inneholder fortrinnsvis to sulfongrupper og en fettsyrerest inneholdende 8 til 22 karbonatomer. Eksempler på alkylarylsulfonater er natrium-, kalsium- eller trietanolaminsaltene av dodecyl-benzensulfonsyre, dibutylnaftalensulfonsyre eller av et naftalensulfon/formaldehyd-kondensasjonsprodukt. Også egnet er de tilsvarende fosfater, for eksempel salter av fosfor-syreesteren av et addukt av p-nonylfenol med 4 til 14 mol etylenoksyd, eller fosfolipider.
Ikke-ioniske overflateaktive midler er fortrinnsvis poly-glykoleterderivater av alifatiske eller cykloalifatiske alkoholer eller mettede eller umettede fettsyrer og alkyl-fenoler, idet derivatene inneholder 3 til 10 glykoleter-grupper og 8 til 20 karbonatomer i den (alifatiske) hydro-karbondel og 6 til 18 karbonatomer i alkyldelen i alkyl-fenolene.
Ytterligere egnede ikke-ioniske overflateaktive midler er de vannoppløselige addukter av polyetylenoksyd med propylenglykol, etylendiaminopolypropylenglykol Inneholdende 1 til 10 karbonatomer i alkylkjeden, hvilke addukter inneholder 20 til 250 etylenglykoletergrupper og 10 til 100 propylenglykoleter-grupper. Disse forbindelser inneholder vanligvis 1 til 5 etylenglykolenheter pr. propylenglykolenhet.
Representative eksempler på ikke-ioniske overflateaktive midler er nonylfenolpolyetoksyetanoler, castoroljepolyglykol-etre, polypropylen/polyetylenoksydaddukter, tributylfenoksy-polyetoksyetanol, polyetylenglykol og oktylfenoksypolyetoksy-etanol. Fettsyreestre av polyetylensorbitan som for eksempel polyoksyetylensorbitantrioleat er også egnede ikke-ioniske overflateaktive midler.
Kationiske overflateaktive midler er fortrinnsvis kvaternære ammoniumsalter som som N-substituent inneholder minst en co oo-alkylrest og som ytterligere substituenter inneholder usubstituerte eller halogenerte laverealkyl-, benzyl- eller hydroksylaverealkylrester. Saltene foreligger fortrinnsvis i form av halogenider, metylsulfater eller etylsulfater, for eksempel stearyltrimetylammoniumklorid eller benzyldi(2-kloretyl )etylammoniumbromid.
De overflateaktive midler som vanligvis benyttes ved denne type formulering er for eksempel beskrevet i "McCutcheon's Detergents and Emulsifiers Annual", MC Publishing Corp., Ridgewood, New Jersey, 1981; H. Stache, "Tensid-Taschenbuch", 2. utg., .C. Hanser Verlag, Munich & Vienna, 1981, M. og J. Ash, "Encyclopedia of Surfactants", vol. I-111, Chemical Publishing Co., New York, 1980-81.
Spesielt fordelaktige additiver som kan benyttes for å forbedre påføring og redusere dosen av aktive bestanddeler er de naturlige (animalske eller vegetabilske) eller syntetiske fosfolipider av cefalin eller lecitintypen som for eksempel fosfatidyletanolamin, fosfatidylserin , fosfatidylglycerin , lysolecitin eller kardiolipin. Slike fosfolipider kan oppnås fra dyre- eller planteceller og spesielt fra hjerne-, hjerte-eller levervev, eggeplomme eller soyabønner. Egnede slike fosfolipider er for eksempel fosfatidylcholinblandinger. Syntetiske fosfolipider er for eksempel dioktanylfosfatidyl-cholin og dipalmitoylfosfatidylcholin.
Når det gjelder flytende formuleringer og spesielt vandige eller alkoholiske formuleringer, er det å anbefale å tilsette et egnet overflateaktivt middel, enten av anionisk, kationisk eller nøytral type. Spesielt vil det overflateaktive middel være av kationisk type og ennu mer spesielt er det et kvaternært ammoniumsalt eller en blanding av kvaternære ammoniumsalter. Slike kvaternære ammoniumoverflateaktive midler omfatter for eksempel ammoniumsalter med fire hydrokarbonrester som eventuelt kan være substituert med halogen, fenyl, substituert fenyl eller hydroksy; hydro-karbonresten er i dette tilfellet spesielt alkyl- eller alkenylrester, de kan også være avledet fra fettsyrer eller alkoholer, for eksempel cetyl, lauryl, palmityl, myristyl, oleyl og lignende eller fra hydrosylatene fra kokosnøttolje, tallolje, soyabønneolje, eller de hydrogenerte former derav, eller lignende.
Eksempler på kvaternære ammoniumsalter er de av trimetyl-alkylammoniumhalogenidtypen, for eksempel trimetyldecyl-ammoniumklorid, trimetyldodecylammoniumklorid, trimetyltall-ammoniumklorid, trimetyloleylammoniumklorid, eller av dimetylalkylbenzylammoniumtypen, for eksempel dimetyldecyl-benzylammoniumklorid, dimetyldodecylbenzylammoniumklorid, dimetylheksadecylbenzylammoniumklorid (vanligvis kalt "cetalkoniumklorid" ), dimetyloktadecylbenzylammoniumklorid, dimetylkokosbenzylammoniumklorid, dimetyltallbenzylammonium-klorid, og spesielt dimetyl-Cg_^g-alkylbenzylammoniumklorid-blandingen som vanligvis er kjent som "benzalkoniumklorid"; dimetyldialkylammoniumhalogenider som dimetyldioktylammonium-klorid, dimetyldidecylammoniumklorid, dimetyldidodecylammo-niumklorid, dimetyldikokosammoniumklorid, dimetylditallammo-niumklorid, dimetyloktydecylammoniumklorid, dimetyldodecyl-oktylammoniumklorid, dimetyldihydrogenert tallammoniumklorid.
Som benyttet i den foregående oppsummering av kvaternære ammoniumsalter angir uttrykkene "kokos", "tall" og "hydrogenert tall" de hydrokarbonrester som avledes fra hydrosylater av kokosnøttolje, tallolje eller hydrogenert tallolje. Vektforholdet mellom de kvaternære ammoniumoverflateaktive midler og den aktive bestanddel (I) er mellom 1:1 og 10:1. Utmerkede resultater oppnås når forholdet er 5:1.
Bortsett fra de ovenfor nevnte aktive bestanddeler med formlene (I) og (II) kan preparatene ifølge oppfinnelsen videre inneholde andre aktive bestanddeler, for eksempel andre mikrobiocider og spesielt fungicider, videre også insekticider, akaricider, nematicider, herbicider, plante-vekstregulatorer og gjødningsstoffer. Som antimikrobielle midler som kan benyttes i kombinasjon med de aktive stoffer skal nevnes produkter fra følgende klasser: fenolderivater som 3 , 5-diklorfenyl, 2 , 5-diklorfenol, 3 , 5-dibromfenol, 2,5-dibromfenol, 2,5-(hhv. 3 , 5 )-diklor-4-bromfenol, 3,4,5-triklorfenol, klorinerte hydrodifenyletre som for eksempel 2—hydroksy-3,2',4'-triklordifenyleter, fenylfenol, 4-klor-2-fenylfenol, 4-klor-2-benzylfenyl, diklorofen, heksakloropren; aldehyder som formaldehyd, glutaraldehyd, salicylaldehyd; alkoholer som fenoksyetanol; antimikrobielt aktive karboksyl-syrer og deres derivater; metallorganiske forbindelser som tributyltinnforbindelser; jodforbindelser som jodoforer, jodoniumforbindelser; mono-, di- og polyaminer som dodecyl-amin eller 1,10-di(n-heptyl )-l,10-diaminodecan, sulfonium- og fosfoniumforbindelser; merkaptoforbindelser så vel som deres alkali, jordalkali og tungmetallsalter som 2-merkaptopyridin-N-oksyd og dettes natrium- og sinksalt, 3-merkptopyridazin-2-oksyd, 2-merkaptokinoksalin-l-oksyd, 2-merkaptokinoksalin-di-N-oksyd, så vel som de symmetriske disulfider av merkapto-forbindelsene; ureastoffer som tribrom eller triklorkarba-nilid, diklortrifluormetyldifenylurea; tribromsalicylanilid;
2-brom-2-nitro-l,3-dihydroksypropan; diklorbenzoksazolon; klorheksidin, isotia- og benzisotiazolonderivater.
Som insekticide midler som kan benyttes i kombinasjon med azolene med formel (I) kan følgende produktklasser komme i betraktning: insekticider av naturlig opprinnelse, for eksempel nikotin, rotenon, pyretrum og lignende; klorerte hydrokarboner som lindan, klordan, endosulfan og lignende; organiske fosfor-forbindelser som foksim, klorpyrifos, diazinon, paration, diklorovos, dimetoat og lignende; karbamater som karbaryl, aldikarb, metiokarb, propoksur og lignende; biologiske insekticider som produkter med opprinnelse i Bacillus thuringiensis; syntetiske pyretroider, som permetrin, alletrin, cypermetrin, deltametrin, cyflutrin, halotrin og lignende.
I lys av oppløseligheten i organiske oppløsninger er de aktive bestanddeler velegnet for anvendelse i ikke-vandige medier som er av interesse ved trepreservering. Treverket eller treproduktene som skal beskyttes kan lett impregneres med slike oppløsninger. Som organiske oppløsninger kan det benyttes alifatiske og aromatiske hydrokarboner, deres klorerte derivater, syreamider, mineraloljer, alkoholer, etre, glykoletre som metylenklorid, propylenglykol, metoksy-etanol, etoksyetanol, N,N-dimetylformamid og lignende eller blandinger av slike oppløsningsmidler hvortil det kan være tilsatt dispergeringsmidler (for eksempel emulgeringsmidler som sulfurert ricinusolje, fettalkoholsulfater og så videre) og/eller andre additiver.
Spesielt attraktive formuleringer omfatter vann-fortynnbare trepreserveringsvæsker inneholdende en egnet mengde av et egnet oppløsningsmiddel, en egnet oppløseliggjører og begge de aktive bestanddeler. Fortrinnsvis benyttes det 10 til 80$ av et oppløsningsmiddel, 20 til 80$ av et oppløseliggjørende middel og fra 0,01 til 10$ av de aktive bestanddeler (I) og
(II).
Foretrukne oppløseliggjørere som kan "benyttes i de vann-fortynnbare trepreserveringsvæsker er valgt blant: i) addisjonsprodukter av 1 til 60 mol etylenoksyd med 1 mol av en fenol som er ytterligere substituert med minst en
C1_15-alkylgruppe; og
ii) addisjonsprodukter av 1 til 60 mol etylenoksyd med 1 mol
ricinusolj e.
De mest foretrukne oppløseliggjørere er valgt blant:
i) addisjonsprodukter av 1 til 60 mol etylenoksyd med 1 mol nonylfenol eller oktylfenol; og
ii) addisjonsprodukter av 1 til 60 mol etylenoksyd med 1 mol
ricinusolj e.
Disse egnede oppløsningsmidler må oppfylle kravene om tilstrekkelig å oppløseliggjøre de aktive bestanddeler og, når de kombineres med oppløseliggjøreren, blir homogent blandbart med et overveiende vandig medium. Foretrukne oppløsningsmidler er 2-butoksyetanol, butyl-2-hydroksy-eddiksyreester og propylenglykol-monometyleter.
De vahnfortynnbare trepreserveringsvæsker har fordelen av at så å si øyeblikkelige homogene eller kvasihomogene oppløs-ninger dannes ved blanding av væskene med overveiende vandige medier. Disse oppløsninger har ekstremt høy fysikalsk stabilitet, ikke bare ved omgivelsestemperatur, det vil si temperaturer mellom 15 og 35°C, men også ved forhøyede temperaturer. Således blir den fysikalske stabilitet for oppløsningene ikke forringet efter flere frys-tin-cykler. De homogene oppløsninger forener videre fordelene av å fukte treoverflaten godt og å trenge inn i treverket i en høy grad, noe som resulterer i et høyt opptak av oppløsningen og dennes aktive bestanddeler av treverket, og som et resultat, at man oppnår den ønskede preservering av det behandlede treverket. På grunn av et mer enhetlig opptak av den vandige oppløsning er i tillegg trepreserveringsvæskene og de resulterende vandige oppløsninger spesielt brukbare ved behandlings-teknikker som krever muligheten for en kontinuerlig prosess som for eksempel impregnerings- eller dyppteknikker.
I tillegg forenes oppløsningene som er dannet med trepreser-ver ingsvæsken i seg de ovenfor nevnte fordeler med de som er karakteristiske for overveiende vandige medier, for eksempel et relativt høyt flammepunkt og en redusert toksisitet, noe som resulterer i en fordelaktig innflytelse på omgivelsene og helsen og sikkerheten for personalet, uteblivende irritasjon og lignende fordeler.
I trepreserveringsoppløsningene som skal benyttes for kontakt med treverket, der oppløsningene enten er en blanding som beskrevet ovenfor eller fremstilt fra denne ved fortynning med et egnet oppløsningsmiddel, kan konsentrasjonen av forbindelsen med formel (I) variere mellom 100 og 10 000, spesielt mellom 200 og 5 000 og fortrinnsvis mellom 500 og 1 000 ppm, mens konsentrasjonene av forbindelsen med formel (I) kan variere mellom 100 og 15 000, spesielt mellom 300 og
7 500 og aller helst mellom 750 og 1 500 ppm.
I trepreserverende oppløsninger vil forholdet mellom de aktive bestanddeler (I) og (II), altså propikonazol:tebukonazol , være slik at den synergistiske fungicide virkning oppnås med begge aktive bestanddeler. Spesielt ligger forholdet (I):(II) i området 20:1 til 1:2, fortrinnsvis fra 10:1 til 1:1 og aller helst fra 5:1 til 1:1.
De synergistiske preparater som skal benyttes direkte kan også oppnås fra separate blandinger inneholdende de aktive bestanddeler eller fra teknisk aktive bestanddeler selv, ved blanding og/eller fortynning med vandige eller organiske medier og/eller eventuelt ved ytterligere tilsetning av hjelpestoffer som de som er beskrevet ovenfor. Disse separate blandinger er generelt slike som beskrevet ovenfor for blandinger inneholdende begge aktive bestanddeler. Av spesiell interesse for enkelte brukere skal nevnes fremstilling av kundeferdige formuleringer av begge aktive bestanddeler i ikke-modifisert teknisk form for derved å tillate maksimal fleksibilitet ved applisering av de herværende synergistiske blandinger av propikonazol og tebukonazol.
De følgende eksempler er ment å illustrere og ikke begrense rammen av oppfinnelsen i alle sine aspekter. Hvis ikke annet er sagt, er alt gitt på vektbasis.

Eksempel 1: Fuktbare pulvere
De aktive bestanddeler ble grundig blandet med tilsetnings-stoffene og blandingen ble grundig oppmalt i en egnet mølle, idet man oppnådde fuktbare pulvere som kunne fortynnes med vann for å gi suspensjoner med ønsket konsentrasjon.
Eksempel 2: Emulgerbare konsentrater
Emulsjoner av en hvilken som helst konsentrasjon kan oppnås fra disse konsentrater ved fortynning med vann.
Eksempel 3: Støv
Brukbare støv ble oppnådd ved å blande de aktive bestanddeler med bærere og så å male opp blandingen i en egnet mølle.
Eksempel 4: Ekstrudergranulater
De aktive bestanddeler ble blandet og malt opp sammen med tilsetningsstoffer, hvorefter blandingen ble fuktet med vann. Blandingen ble så ekstrudert og tørket i en luftstrøm.
De aktive bestanddeler ble oppløst i diklormetan, oppløs-ningen ble sprayet på bæreren og oppløsningsmidlet ble derefter dampet av under vakuum.
Eksempel 5: Belagte granulater
De aktive bestanddeler ble, i en blander blandet med kaolinet som var fuktet med polyetylenglykol. Ikke-støvende belagte granulater ble oppnådd på denne måte.
Eksempel 6: Suspensjonskonsentrater
De aktive bestanddeler ble blandet grundig med tilsetningsstoffer, noe som ga et suspensjonskonsentrat hvorfra suspensjoner med en hvilken som helst ønsket konsentrasjon kunne oppnås ved fortynning med vann.
Disse oppløsninger var egnet for anvendelse i form av mikrodråper.
C. BIOLOGISKE EKSEMPLER
Eksempel 7
Den synergistiske virkning av preparatene av (I) og (II) ifølge oppfinnelsen kan vises ved å sammenligne med aktiviteten for de aktive bestanddeler (I) og (II) alene. Effektiviteten for de aktive bestanddeler mot mycelvekst og spordannelse for forskjellige fungi (Mucor, Rhizopus, Pythium) ble bestemt ved giftplateanalysen "poison plate assay". De krevede konsentrasjoner av de angjeldende fungicider ble oppnådd ved fortynning av de aktive bestanddeler (I), (II) eller kombinasjonen av (I) og (II) oppløst i 50 %- ig vandig etanol med en beregnet mengde sterilt vann og å helle fortynningen i Petri-skåler. 3 %- ig maltekstraktagar ble tilsatt aseptisk og enhetlig fordeling ble oppnådd ved rysting. Hver plate ble inokulert med mycel fra kanten av den aktivt voksende koloni. Efter inkubering ved 22°C og 70$ relativ fuktighet i et tidsrom langt nok til å tillate totalvekst av kontrollene, ble diametrene for koloniene målt. Relative aktiviteter ble beregnet ved å sette fraværet av fungalvekst (diameter 0 mm) til 100$. Fra aktiviteten av de aktive bestanddeler alene ble aktivitetene E beregnet ved bruk av den såkalte Colby-formel (Colby, S.R., "Weeds", 1967, 15; 20-22),
der X og Y uttrykker de relative aktiviteter som oppnås for hver av de aktive bestanddeler. En synergistisk virkning kan erkjennes hvis den funne aktivitet overskrider beregnet aktivitet.
Resultatene er oppført i tabell 1 nedenfor og viser klart at den målte aktivitet generelt overskrider den beregnede aktivitet. Lik effektivitet ble observert hver gang total-inhibering av fungalveksten skjedde ved en av de aktive bestanddeler (I) eller (II) alene. De tilfeller der en tilsynelatende antagonisme opptrådte skyldtes en avvikende vekst av den angjeldende fungus der en aktiv bestanddel ble prøvet alene.
Eksempel 8: Treråteprøve
Effektiviteten for blandingene av propikonazol (I) og tebukonazol (II) for å forhindre destruering av treverk ved fungi mot effektiviteten av hver aktiv bestanddel alene ble prøvet i en mini-jordblokkprøve med Coniophora puteana BAM 15 og Gloeophyllum trabeum BAM 109 som prøvefungi.
I prøveformuleringene var mengden aktiv bestanddel propikonazol (I) enten 0,4 eller 0,6$ (vekt/vekt) og mengden av den aktive bestanddel tebukonazol (II) var 0,2$ (vekt/vekt). Prøveformuleringene bestod videre av 5 vekt-$-ig tallolje-ester og Kristalol 60® ad 100 vekt-$.
For hver prøvekonsentrasj on ble fire ikke-aldrede og fire aldrede splintvedblokker av Pinus silvestris L. med dimen-sjonene 30 mm x 10 mm x 5 mm impregnert ved retensjoner på 20^ henholdsvis 40 kg/m5 . Aldringsprosedyren bestod i å oppvarme blokkene til 80°C i 2 uker før impregnering. Efter impregnering ble både ikke-aldrede og aldrede blokker kondisjonert ved 20°C og 65$ relativ fuktighet i 4 uker. Efter sterili-sering ble prøvene anbragt i glassbeholdere med steril jord og dekket med 2 cm jord. Hver beholder inneholdt to behandlede og to ikke-behandlede prøver. Beholderne ble inokulert med angjeldende prøvefungus og holdt ved 22° C og 70$ relativ fuktighet i 6 uker. Prøvene ble så tørket og vekttapene beregnet. En konsentrasjon ble ansett effektiv (+) når middelvekttapet for de fire replikater var < 3$. Resultatene av treråteprøvene er vist i tabell 2. Minustegnet angir at middelvekttapet på grunn av fungalangrep var over 3$.
Claims (6)
1.
Antifungalt synergistisk preparat, karakterisert ved at det består av eller inneholder (a) tebukonazol eller et salt derav, (b) propikonazol, et salt, en stereoisomer eller en stereoisomerblanding derav, idet vektforholdet mellom de to aktive bestanddeler, (a):(b), ligger innen området 50:1 til 1:50.

Preparat ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at vektforholdet (a):(b) er fra 10:1 til 1:10.

Preparat ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at vektforholdet (a):(b) er fra 1:1 til 1:10.

Preparat ifølge krav 3, karakterisert ved at vektforholdet (a):(b) er fra 5:1 til 1:5.

Preparat ifølge krav 1, karakterisert ved at vektforholdet (a):(b) er fra 1:1 til 1:5.

Anvendelsen av (a) tebukonazol eller et salt derav i kombinasjon med (b) propikonazol, et salt, en stereoisomer eller en stereoisomer blanding derav, for samtidig eller sekvensiell bekjempelse av fungi.
