Description

Kjøkkenkar for flere formål, men særlig anvendelig for tørking av bestikk.
I det moderne kjøkken kan vi finne
mange slags hjelpemidler, fra enkle spise-redskaper til helautomatiske oppvaskma-skiner. De siste hører dog enda til sjelden-hetene. I alminnelighet vil enda sten- og
glasstøy vaskes og skylles for hånd i kum-mer, og siden stilles vekk for avdrypning
og tørring i særlige hyller eller stativer,
som samtidig kan tjene som oppbevarings-plasser. Derimot til kniver, gafler og skjeer,
det som går under fellesnavnet bestikk, og
visper, skrellere, stekesett m.m., fortsatt
etter vask bli tørret med håndklær, noe som
ved ettertanke må fremtre som en ulempe.
Det er tidskrevende, det medfører et visst
forbruk av håndklær som kan bli skåret
astykker ved uhell eller skjødesløshet, eller
iallfall bli så fuktige at de ofte må byttes.
Det er oppfinnelsens formål å eliminere
de nevnte ulemper og samtidig fremskaffe
en kombinert anordning, som også ellers
vil kunne fremtre som et greit og allsidig
hjelpemiddel i kjøkkenet.
Oppfinnelsen beskjeftiger seg med et
enkelt kjøkkenkar fremstilt fortrinnsvis av
aluminium med perforert bunn og sidevegg, utstyrt med håndtak og hvor bunnen
. ved periferien er forsynt med vorter eller
pigger for anlegg mdt en understøttende
flate.
Oppfinnelsen er i det vesentlige kjen-netegnet ved at bunnen er hvelvet oppover (innover).
I henhold til et ytterligere trekk er
bunnen også forsynt med radielle ribber. I
en annen utførelse kan karet være utstyrt
med en til bunnen festet fot av plate-materiale.
Et kjøkkenkar i henhold til oppfinnel-
sen vil på kjøkkenet ikke bare være ar-beidsbesparende, men også meget anvendelig. Når det brukes som bestikktørker pla-seres det vaskede bestikk med skaftene vendende oppover i karet, hvoretter dette stilles hen på en halvvarm kokeplate, på en kjøleskaprist e.l. hvor den oppstigende varme luft, som uten hindring finner vei gjennom karet, på eit øyeblikk vil ha gjort bestikket tørt. Anvendt således vil arbeids-tiden for husmoren bli nedsatt, og hun vil også kunne oppnå en viss sterilisering av bestikket, uten at den temperatur skaftene på f. eks. kniver utsettes for, behøver over-stige ca. 50°C. Men karet kan også anvendes til avspyling av bestikket før opp-vasken, under en kran for varmt eller kaldt vann. På lignende måte kan poteter eller gulerøtter avspyles under kaldtvanns-kranen. Karet kan også anvendes for koking av f. eks. egg, idet karet med eggene ii settes opp 1 en kjele med kokende vann. Det vil da være lett når eggene er til-strekkelig kokt, å ta disse opp til en rask avkjøling under springen. På samme måte kan makaroni behandles, og også ved koking av andre varer, kan karet gjøre nytte for seg ii et vannbad som innerbehol-der. Husmoren vil også i et kar i henhold til oppfinnelsen ha et lettvint dørslag for hånden.
Oppfinnelsen vil fremgå klarere av den etterfølgende beskrivelse av et par på tegningen viste utførelseseksempler.

Karet er vist som en tilnærmet sy-linder, med sidevegg 3, håndtak 4 og bunn 7. I sideveggen 3 er perforeringer 1 i form av små hull, i bunnen 7 er perforeringene betegnet med 6. Karet er vist i bruk som bestikktørker på fig. 3, hvor det hviler på en passende varm kokeplate 10 gjennom de spisse pigger 2. Figuren viser også anord-ningen av de radielle ribber 5, som kan tjene som anlegg mot platen istedenfor piggene (vortene) 2. Luft vil utenfra suges inn under karets bunn og varmes opp av platen, hvoretter den oppvarmede luft stiger opp i karet gjennom hullene b, og også rive med seg værelsesluft gjennom hullene 1. Resultatet vil være en rask og effektiv tørring.
En modifikasjon av oppfinnelsen er vist på fig. 4, hvor karet ved en nagle e.l. er påfestet en fot 8. Om ønsket kan denne fot også være varmeisolert fra karet i festepunktet.

Claims (4)

1. Kjøkkenkar, særlig for tørring av bestikk, med perforert bunn og sidevegg, fortrinnsvis av aluminium, utstyrt med håndtak og hvor bunnen ved periferien er forsynt med vorter eller pigger (2) for anlegg mot 'eff understøttende flate, karakterisert ved at karets bunn (7) er hvelvet oppover (innover).
2. Kjøkkenkar som angitt i påstand 1, karakterisert ved at bunnen (7) er forsynt med radielle ribber (5).
3. Kjøkkenkar som angitt i påstand 1, karakterisert ved at karet er forsynt med en til bunnens (7) midte festet (ved 9) oppoverhvelvet fot (8) av plate-materiale som levner et for luft tilgjen-gelig mellomrom mellom fot og bunn.
4. Kjøkkenkar som angitt i påstand 3, karakterisert ved at foten (8) er perforert og forsynt med periferiene pigger eller radielle ribber (12).
