Abstract

Se provee una coraza perforada de un acero inoxidable austenitico que tiene una buena condicion de superficie interior, y se establece un medio por el cual pueda realizarse una produccion en masa a una escala industrial de un tubo de acero sin costura de buena calidad de acero inoxidable. Un lingote de acero inoxidable austenitico con un contenido de P como maximo de 0.040% y un contenido de S como maximo de 0.020% se perfora bajo condiciones tales que la relacion de expansion del tubo H (diametro exterior de la coraza/ diametro del lingote a ser trabajado) satisface la siguiente ecuacion para obtener una coraza de tubo de un acero inoxidable austenitico. {P(%)/(0.025 x H -0.01)]2 + {S(%)/(0.015 x H-0.012=1 Cuando se fabrica un tubo de acero sin costura de un a cero inoxidable austenitico, la coraza antes descrita se lamina para formar un tubo.
