Abstract

La invencion se relaciona a un motor de combustion interna turboalimentado y comprende una valvula de mariposa controlada electricamente. El turbocompresor esta equipado con una valvula de descarga para regular la presion en el mismo. La posicion de la valvula de mariposa y la abertura de la valvula de descarga se controlan de acuerdo a dos modos de funcionamiento diferentes. En el primer modo de funcionamiento, la posicion de la valvula de mariposa se predetermina en funcion de los parametros de control y del funcionamiento del motor y la posicion de la valvula de descarga asegura la regulacion del flujo de aire. En el segundo modo de funcionamiento, la abertura de la valvula de descarga se predetermina en funcion de los parametros de control y de funcionamiento del motor y la posicion de la valvula de mariposa asegura la regulacion del flujo de aire. El arbitraje entre los dos modos de realizacion se asegura por un dispositivo electronico el cual selecciona el modo de funcionamiento que se va a utilizar en funcion de las condiciones predeterminadas y almacenadas.
