Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un metodo para abombar o flexionar hojas de vidrio (2), calentadas a la temperatura de ablandamiento de las mismas, que tiene las siguientes caracteristicas: las hojas de vidrio (2) estan acomodadas en una estructura de flexion concava (3) y son preflexionadas bajo la fuerza de gravedad, las hojas de vidrio (3) preflexionadas son transferidas sobre una forma de transferencia (4), con una superficie de formacion concava, la forma de transferencia (4) es desplazada hacia arriba a traves de la estructura de flexion concava (3) con un perimetro mas grande, y de este modo se recuperan las hojas de vidrio (2), la forma de transferencia (4) es llevada a la proyeccion vertical de una forma de flexion final, en la forma de una estructura (5) con una superficie de formacion concava, la forma de transferencia (4) es desplazada hacia abajo a traves de la forma de flexion final (5) con el perimetro mas grande, las hojas de vidrio (2) son colocadas sobre la forma de flexion final (5) y las hojas de vidrio (2) son flexionadas a la forma final de las mismas. Las hojas de vidrio (2) en la forma final de las mismas, son transferidas de la forma de flexion final (5) despues de que es terminada la operacion de flexion, sobre un dispositivo de transporte y enfriamiento. La invencion se refiere ademas a un dispositivo para llevar a cabo dicho metodo.
