Abstract

Se proporciona un sistema de enfriamiento de reformado (10) para su uso con un subsistema de procesamiento de combustible (12) para reducir el nivel de monoxido de carbono en un flujo de reformado (14) para un sistema de celda de combustible de membrana de intercambio de protones (16). El subsistema de procesamiento de combustible (12) incluye un primer oxidador preferencial (18) y un segundo oxidador preferencial (20) para oxidar el monoxido de carbono transportado en el flujo de reformado. El sistema de enfriamiento de reformado (10) incluye una trayectoria de flujo de refrigerante (30), una trayectoria de flujo de reformado (32), y una primera, segunda, tercera y cuarta porciones centrales (34, 36, 38, 40) de intercambiador de calor.
