Abstract
Se describen metodos para reducir el menos parcialmente, un oxido de niobio, en donde el proceso incluye tratar por calor el oxido de niobio en la presencia de un material eliminador y en una atmosfera, la cual permite la transferencia de atomos de oxigeno del oxido de niobio al material eliminador , y por tiempo suficiente y a una temperatura suficiente para formar un oxido de niobio reducido en oxigeno. Tambien se descri8ben los oxidos y/o suboxidos de niobio, asi como capacitores que contienen anodos elaborados de oxidos y suboxidos de niobio.
