Abstract

Se describe un dispositivo de control de distribucion de luz que comprende una estructura de difusion optica de forma plana o de pelicula, que tiene una transmitancia o receptividad optica y que incluye una pluralidad de rebordes acomodados en paralelo uno con el otro sobre una cara, cada reborde forma una parte de un circulo en general en una seccion normal a la direccion longitudinal del mismo, y es elaborado tan liso sobre su superficie como para no provocar una difusion irregular drastica de la luz. En el efecto de rejilla de difraccion que va a ser provocado por el arreglo paralelo de los rebordes multiples, la proporcion de la cantidad de luz de difraccion a la cantidad de luz incidente es ajustada por la seleccion del angulo de circunferencia y el diametro maximo de la seccion de cada reborde. Donde un haz optico es introducido a la cara de la estructura de difusion optica, la proyeccion de la distribucion de difusion sobre el plano normal a la direccion longitudinal de los rebordes y la cara de la estructura, es en general simetrica con respecto al eje de la linea normal en el punto incidente, independientemente del angulo de incidencia de la luz.
