Abstract

Un cable de varias capas con capa externa insaturada, utilizable como elemento de refuerzo de una armadura de carcasa de neumatico, que comprende un alma de diametro do rodeada por una capa intermedia (indicada por Cl) de seis o siete hilos (M = 6 o 7) de diametro d1 enrollados juntos en helice segun un paso P1, estando rodeada esta capa Cl a su vez por una capa externa (indicada por C2) de N hilos de diametro d2 enrollados juntos en helice segun un paso P2, siendo N inferior en 1 a 3 al numero maximo Nmax de hilos enrollables en una capa alrededor de la capa Cl, presentando este cable las caracteristicas siguientes (do, d1, d2, Pl y P2 en mm): (i) 0, 14 < do < 0, 28; (ii) 0,12 < di < 0, 25; (iii) 0,12 < d2 < 0, 25; (iv) para M = 6: 1,10 < (do /di) < 1,40; para M = 7: 1,40 < (do /di) < 1,70; (v) 5 ? (do + d1) < Pl < P2 < 5 ? (do + 2d1 + d2); (vi) los hilos de las capas Cl y C2 estan enrollados en el mismo sentido de torsion. La invencion se refiere, ademas, a los articulos o productos semiacabados de material plastico y /o de caucho reforzados por un cable de varias capas de este tipo, especialmente, los neumaticos destinados a vehiculos industriales y, de manera mas particular, los neumaticos para vehiculos de gran tonelaje y a sus telas de armadura de carcasa.
