Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere al tratamiento de agua, en particular a un proceso para la eliminacion de carbono orgánico disuelto del agua. El proceso incluye los siguientes pasos: la adicion de una resina de intercambio ionico al agua que contiene un contaminante tal como carbono orgánico disuelto de la resina en el agua contaminada para hacer posible la adsorcion del carbono orgánico disuelto sobre la resina, y la separacion de la resina cargada con el contaminante del agua.
