Abstract

Un método y un sistema para la incineracion continua de basura solida, dirigida a reducir la formacion de patogenos (tales como dioxinas) durante la incineracion mediante la induccion de la combustion rápida en un ambiente rico en oxígeno. La basura puede ser triturada primero. La basura es dispersada ampliamente a través de la primera cámara de combustion en la que experimenta la incineracion hasta ceniza y gas. Se describen las modalidades alternativas para la remocion continua de ceniza caliente. El gas es impulsado a desplazarse en una trayectoria espiral dentro de una segunda cámara de combustion, en la que ocurre la incineracion adicional. El gas se desplaza a través de la segunda cámara de combustion también en una trayectoria espiral y se enfría en un tubo de extension. Un medio evacuador, ventajosamente un ventilador, extrae el aire continuamente a través del sistema durante la combustion, impulsando el flujo de basura a través del sistema y llenado de nuevo con oxígeno disponible para la combustion rápida.
