Abstract
PURPOSE: To incinerate city refuse efficiently by a method wherein adhering of substances accumulated within an air-preheater at a fluidized layer type incinerator is prevented and a life of the air-preheater is lengthened.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion waste gas of a fluid floor incinerator 1 is introduced into an air-preheater 4 and air 5 is heated by utilizing heat of the combustion waste gas and is operated as fluid air. A cyclone 8 is provided in a combustion waste gas pipe way 3 between the fluid floor incinerating furnace 1 and the air-preheater 4 in this device, while a duct 15 for blowing cooling gas thereinto, a flow adjusting damper 16 and a cooling fan 20 are provided in the combustion waste gas pipe way 3 before the cyclone 8. A temperature of the combustion waste gas is decreased till about 660°C here. The combustion waste gas, thus cooled, is entered into the cyclone 8 and solid grains such as sodium chloride and potassium chloride are collected together with ash of incineration.
