Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress a producing amount of NOx as well as to enable to reduce the produced NOx by intermediate products having high reducing property and lower a discharging amount of NOx remarkably as a whole.
CONSTITUTION: In a fluidized bed incinerator suitable for incinerating ash (EP ash) collected from exhaust gas of a boiler or the like burning heavy crude oil, soot of the exhaust gas of the combustion is removed by a primary dust collector 18, connected to an outlet 16 of the furnace, and the secondary dust collector 20, then, the collected soot is transferred to a rotary kiln 24 with a conveyor 23 to burn it. On the other hand, the exhaust gas is discharged to the outside of the system through an exhaust gas fan 21 and a duct 22 after the soot included therein is removed. In this case, a part of this exhaust gas is supplied through a recirculating duct 28, a fan 27 and a duct 29 into nozzles 14a of an air tower section of the furnace while another part of it is supplied into the rotary kiln 24. Further, another part of it is mixed with air stream produced by a blower 10 and is made to be fed into the fluidized bed 5.
