Abstract

PURPOSE: In a system for collecting ash contained in the exhaust gas from a fluidized bed furance and incinerating it in an afterburning furnace, to efficiently and economically reduce the ash contained in the exhaust gas from the afterburner by feeding the exhaust gas into a dust collector.
CONSTITUTION: A swirl jet bed furnace 1 is connected with a feed nozzle 3 for feeding a fluidizing medium 2 and EP ash, fluidizing air pipes 4a and 4b, starter burner 5a, and an auxiliary burner 5b. The combustion gas is discharged through a free board unit 1a, exhaust pipe 6, single cyclone 7, pipe 8, multi cyclone 9, and suction blower 10. The ash collected by the cyclones 7 and 9 is incinerated in a rotary kiln (afterburner) 11 and the exhaust gas is fed through a pipe 12 into the multi cyclone 9 for dust collection. The ash containing V2O5 in the exhaust gas can be removed effectively without use of any special dust collector.
