Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve operational controllability and to prevent harmful substances from being created by a method wherein solid wastes are burnt primarily in a fluid bed furnace as a primary incinerator and the created combustible gas is burnt completely in a gas incinerator as the secondary incinerator. CONSTITUTION:Incombustible valuables are collected and crashed wastes 1 are supplied from a gas seal valve 2 to a primary incinerator 4 through a supply conveyor 3. The primary incinerator 4 has a fluid bed 5 and part of the wastes 1 are burnt by the air 6 sent through a regulating valve 8. The combustible substances which are left without burning are decomposed thermally by combustible heat into combustible gases and char while the combustible gases enter a gas incinerator 12 as the secondary incinerator through a cyclone separator 9. Here, combustion gas is added to the combustible gases by means of a starting-up burner 18 and burnt completely and then cooled to an intended temperature by scattering the water 20.
