Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a refuse and sludge incinerator which can utilize refuse combustion gas as fuel of sludge combustion by providing a combustion gas passage comunicating refuse incinerator to sludge incinerator disposed in space. CONSTITUTION:Refuse supplied from a refuse supply port 1 is burned by the air supplied from a primary air port 8 in a refuse incineration kiln 2 to become approx. 900 deg.C., and is thus partially carbonized and gasified. Combustion gas and unburned gas are burned by the air supplied from a secondary air port 9 through an exhaust gas duct 12 to sludge incineration kiln 5 so as to dry and incinerate the sludge. The gas passed through the kiln 5 is introduced into exhaust gas outlet 7 together with vaporized water content of the sludge. It is desired to provide kiln type of refuse incinerator as described above.
