Abstract

PURPOSE:To render exaust gas from the primary combustion chamber harmless through thorough contact of with a high temperature flame with the proper inclination of a flue communicating the primary and secondary combustion chambers while the burner flame of the secondary combustion chamber is made roughly parallel or inclined at a small angle in the direction. CONSTITUTION:The primary and secondary combustion chambers 10 and 11 are communicated to each other with a flue, which is inclined at about 10 to 45 deg. with respect to vertical of the secondary combustion chamber 11. Additionally, a burner 16 of the secondary combustion chamber 11 is so arranged that the extension of the flue 12 crosses with the root of the flame 17 while the flame is inclined down toward the flue 12. Consequently, exhaust gas generated in the primary combustion chamber 10 reaches the secondary combustion chamber 11 via the flue where unburned components of the exhaust gas is burned by the flame 17 of the burner 16 completely. In this manner, odor and poisonous gas can be thermally decomposed completely thereby eliminating pollution.
