In recent years, in the field of waste incineration technology, there has been a trend toward so-called closed systems in which waste generated from gathering facilities, companies, etc. is incinerated and ashed at each location in order to preserve the living environment. When incinerating this garbage, the incineration exhaust gas contains dust and harmful gases, which causes atmospheric contamination and causes so-called secondary pollution, so the garbage must be completely incinerated in a smokeless state. For this reason, various improvements have been made to the structure of incinerators, and a large number of incinerators have been developed and put into practical use.

For example, the smokeless waste incinerator described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 45-12638 has the original form of the incinerator shown in Figs. A lid 2 having an opening 3 is provided, and combustion air inlets 10a to 10c are arranged at appropriate locations on the lower side and the other end of the primary combustion chamber 1. A secondary combustion chamber 6 whose axes are parallel to each other is placed above the primary combustion chamber 1, and both combustion chambers 1 and 6 are vertically communicated through a flue 7 on the lid 2 side. A combustion burner 8 is provided on the end wall of the secondary combustion chamber 6 on the side of the flue 7, and a flame 8a of the combustion burner 8 extends horizontally. A chimney 9 is protruded from the ceiling of the secondary combustion chamber 8 at the end opposite to the flue 7, and communicates with the chimney 9 to discharge the burned exhaust gas. This incinerator ignites the materials to be incinerated that have been put into a primary combustion chamber 1, supplies combustion air to cause self-combustion, and completely combusts this self-combustion gas in a secondary combustion chamber 6 using a combustion burner 8, including unburned matter. Let it break down.

However, although this incinerator can incinerate dry or low-humidity waste, it cannot incinerate high-moisture waste such as food waste generated from kitchens or sludge collected from water treatment facilities. It had a defect that made it difficult to completely burn it out.

Therefore, the applicant of the present invention aims to provide an incinerator that can eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks and completely incinerate even high-moisture waste.

An embodiment of the present invention on the primary combustion chamber side is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and an embodiment on the secondary combustion chamber side is shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 1 is a partially developed side view of the incinerator, FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the incinerator in which only the primary combustion chamber has been improved, and FIG. 3 is a sectional view of the incinerator in which the secondary combustion chamber has also been improved.

In the primary combustion chamber 1, an ignition burner 4 is provided at the lower part of the end wall on the opposite side to the lid 2, and a grate 5 having an arch formed in the center height is provided so as to surround the flame of the ignition burner 4. With this configuration, excess moisture from food waste and high-moisture incineration materials flows down the grate, and the flame of burner 4 burns it from below.
It promotes drying, improves ignition and combustion, and prevents lump formation. Further, the fire grate forming an arch protects the flame of the burner 4 by withstanding the weight of the material to be incinerated during combustion.

In the secondary combustion chamber 6, a combustion burner 11 is provided on the end wall on the flue 12 side that communicates the upper and lower combustion chambers 1 and 6.
The combustion burner 11 is provided so as to be inclined downward at a small angle with respect to the axis of the combustion burner 11. The flue 12 is configured such that its upper part is inclined toward the combustion burner 11 so as to intersect with the root of the burner flame 11a.

With this configuration, the flame 11a heats the lower wall surface of the secondary combustion chamber 6 over almost the entire length, and mixes with the primary combustion exhaust gas flowing from the flue 12 toward the base of the flame 11a, thereby reducing the exhaust gas. decompose by heating. This primary combustion exhaust gas is a humid and heavy exhaust gas containing an excessive amount of unburned material after burning garbage and sewage sludge, and tries to flow through the lower part of the secondary combustion chamber 6, but the lower part is heated by the flame 11a. Thermal decomposition is accelerated.

As explained above, the present invention provides a primary combustion chamber with an ignition burner and a grate through which its flame passes, a secondary combustion chamber with a combustion burner that heats the lower part of the secondary combustion chamber, and a flame of the combustion burner. By installing a flue that leads to the gas, even food waste and high-moisture sludge can be forcibly ignited, their thermal decomposition promoted, and turned into harmless gas.
